Rusty's Pizza Parlor

Poor Delivery guy. Honestly. These people put him in a tough position. I called to order a pizza and asked to pay in person, not realizing my fiance didn't have the money in cash. Knowing they take card payments over the phone, my fiance calls back promptly to pay with his card. The guy over the phone says he can't help and tells him to address the problem to the delivery driver. When the driver came and we told him the problem and that the guy at the store told us to tell him and he would sort it out, the driver responded with, "Me? Why me? I don't have a machine or anything to run your card. Why would they tell you that?". My 90 year old roomate had to loan me the cash to pay him so he wouldnt have to call the Parlor and save everyone a headache. *** I just want to point out, that almost every time we call in an order here, the people who answer the phone almost always have a bad attitude. Its so noticable it makes you wonder if they even like their job*** The pizza is good here but I'd prefer to save myself the grief and just order from somewhere else. I dont understand why he couldnt just take our payment over the phone. Sheesh.

I'm sharing this review because I've been a customer and advocate of Rusty's for over 30 years and tonight was the first time a driver (Maria) demanded I hand over the coupon I used after ordering online. I think it's a horrible policy to take away the thing that leads to a sale, in my case, decades of orders. The pizza was okay but the lasting feeling from my interaction with this driver makes me want to order somewhere else next time. I contacted the call center to share my experience and was told they follow orders from corporate and there was no desire to keep me as a customer. The coupon isn't worth much, it was the extremely bad experience between the driver and the call center that bothered me.

Pros It was ready on time. Very satisfying. Great customer service via the phone. Would buy again. Cons Prices are not listed outright on the website. (But... It's about $11 for a small, $13 for a medium and $17 for a large with options for thin or pan crust. The price of the pie varies by the number of toppings on your pizza. Hope this helps!🍕)

New location is great! It looks very similar to the lower state location. Very clean and lots of space. They now have a salad bar, video game cabinets, a nice separate party room, and they still sell pizza by the slice! Friendly staff and great pizza. Can't go wrong here especially with the fresh new space.
