I've traveled to a bunch of places and I've tried different breads. You might think that french bread is the best one, but no, is actually German bread. Germans have bread that you can it by itself, so rich and full of flavors.
Going to Oat Bakery is like taking a quick trip to a German bakery. The bread is so nice and soft, but rich and flavorful at the same time, and the people there are so nice that is a full experience to go there. Five stars are not enough for them.

Great bread options here and GF choices. The freshest you can get. Felt like Europe with an actual bakery and real bread.

Love the bread and the hygge (delicious treat like a cinnamon roll).
Also took home a sourdough loaf and a date with almond loaf. Both were just exceptional. Texture was nice and crunchy with good chewiness. Flavor of both were excellent!
Had the hygge with coffee and it was perfect with my morning ☕.
Next time I am in town, I will definitely stop by for more delicious bread!
Note: I wish I also bought the shitakke mushroom 🍄 and shallot loaf too 😋. That sounds great right now.

Hygge buns are incredible. I got Focaccia hot from the oven at 8:00am. Worth crossing town for it.

Incredible baked breads and sweets. My favorite part about visiting Santa Barbara. I picked up the almond date bread, sesame sourdough loaf, and one of the buns. They were all absolutely fantastic! I'm looking forward to eating bread for the next few days.

This bakery makes you realize that “this is the way that bread should be made!” I was blown away by the texture and flavors of the bread. They take such pride in the quality of their product. Taking time to explain the different breads and how they are made is a benefit of visiting this bakery.
The line to get some bread shows that they have a huge following and people love their product. I would highly recommend coming here. It is a must visit!

We were strolling through the Santa Barbara downtown and literally the amazing fresh baked bread smell made us take a detour into the bakery. Not surprised, there were all kinds of freshly baked breads on the display. For my love for bread combined with irresistible options, I got carried away and bought bunch of loafs which I couldn't wait to get back home to bay area to try them all. Definitely all star. If you are into breads then must try if you are around the area. Great taste!
