Ramen The Place

I’ve now tried all of their main soups and they are all quite delicious and complex. They are very savory and you have a broad range of feelings to choose from: a delicate shoyu, a comforting tonkotsu, and a spicy exciting miso. I recently, however, got to try their Haru Ramen limited special which really embodies the feeling of Spring. It is a seafood-focused broth and executes it masterfully. The seafood flavor is present, but not overpowering. The pork flavor from the chashu cuts through, and overall the bowl is extremely refreshing. I believe this refreshing and complex flavor is exactly what chefs intend to achieve with similar seafood dishes. I will be going back to try and get it once more before it goes out of stock! The atmosphere of the restaurant is what I imagine ramen shops in Japan are like: extremely focused & dedicated to the food and a hustling pace for the customer. I think this may be off putting to some shop goers, but if you come for the ramen you will be met with the ramen.

Have been to many ramen places and this one scored in our top three. This place was hopping with online orders and we just managed to beat a rush as there was only one family when we got there and the place was full once we left. Josh, the only server, was kind, helpful, and efficient. No complaints here. He even gave us tips on how best to enjoy our ramen! The restaurant's ambience follows Japanese tradition, it is minimalistic and wooden. Very peaceful. We ordered edamame (perfectly hot, fresh, and lightly salted), signature spicy miso ramen (not too spicy but enough my lips were buzzing when we left, I did add another egg and seaweed to it, lots of other add-ins available to choose from too, so you can customize any bowl), and the signature tonkatsu ramen (smoky, deep flavor of pork, served with a lime to freshen it halfway through). The pork belly portions are also generous and tasty. I typically have to order extra meat at other places but didn't have to here. Just look at those bowls! Beautiful. Overall, would definitely eat here again and would happily order the same meal too. Arigato!

Best vegan ramen we had in recent times. Flavor rich ramen and the noodles were super tasty. Kiwami Vegan Ramen’s graceful meat (plant based meat from Japan) is to die for. Nailed it. Best part of the experience was it being served at correct temperature to just dive in and enjoy. We really liked that part. Also, basic ramen options are too good. Only few ramen places have it and this is one of a kind. You can just order a spicy vegan basic ramen and I assure you won’t be disappointed. We added slowly cooked chicken breast chashu as a protein topping and it was just enough to make it amazing. We also tried Fuwa Toro Japanese Cheesecake which’s yummy. Add yourself to waitlist using the tab to get notified when your table is ready. Will definitely go back again. Highly recommended.

I ordered takeout. The ramen was really well packed and they also gave you the instruction of how to reheat it. I chose “less salty” and the broth tasted a little bit too mellow. The karaage was juicy and flavorful. The waiting time was a bit long though (15 mins over the estimated pickup time). Overall it was pretty good.

Ok so first off I want to make it clear, I am by no means a Roman aficionado as I have only been out to have Ramen One other time. Today after years of looking at photos of Ramen pictures I decided to try this place as it was highly recommend by a friend of mine. We walked in, put our name on computer wait list and waited outside for about 1/2 hour. My friend jokingly commented to me if I was going to deduct a couple stars for the long wait? To which I responded we shall see. After being seated the service was fast and precise. I pointed to The upper right photo on the menu I said I’ll take this one “Kiwami Tonkotsu” and add bok choy please. It came with Pork belly chashu, pork butt chashu, green onions, kikurage mushrooms, 1/2 an egg, black sauce and a hint of lime. About 15 minutes later my order arrived, I must say it looked better then expected. Then I took a bite of my egg noodles, oh my gosh the flavor was indescribably good! Soooo creamy, decadent, with the flavor explosion is going off in my mouth everywhere. My eyes started rolling back in my head trying to get a glimpse of what my brain was processing, then the goosebumps started happening on my arms!! No I’m not joking this actually happened, ok at least in my mind it did. Anyway as I said I am not a Ramen connoisseur in any stretch of the imagination however I just can’t imagine any other Ramen being as good as this. 5 stars yesterday today and tomorrow!! I would’ve giving them six stars but I deducted one stars for the half hour wait C; “ yes I’m being sarcastic” the food was well worth the wait!!!

Waited a while to get in but the food was worth the wait. We ordered vegan karaage for the first time which was juicy and delicious. We also ordered corn rice, mecha rice and 2 bowls of ramen, one of them was spicy tonkatsu and the other one was a special ramen that I already forgot the name. Overall dining experience was great and will definitely visit back!!
