Belying its humble appearance and less-than-ideal location, California Noodle House is easily one of the best Pho places in the area. It's something of a hidden gem, tucked in a tiny strip mall behind the Burger King on El Camino and Halford.
Their soup is some of the tastiest I've had, which is really the only reason I keep going back. Their Bun offerings are good as well, and they added Banh Mi (Vietnamese Sandwiches) to their menu.
The owners/managers are very friendly. Get to know them and they'll treat you very nicely. I have been going there for years. Though my trips are less frequent since I don't live in Sunnyvale anymore, I'll visit every chance I get.
