Kabob House Halal

Umm. It's ok I guess. #1. Chicken had good flavor but was SUPER dry. 1 stars #2. My wife's beef kabob was burnt on the edges. 1.5 stars. #3. My beef kabob was good 4 stars. The steak kabob was also flavorful 4 stars. #4. The hummus was gritty but good 3 stars. #5. The rice was dry as though it was cooked days ago 2 stars. #6. Service was very friendly 5 stars. #7. The inside of the place looks antiquated that's not necessarily A Bad Thing, and it was clean 3.5 stars. Overall I would go back just to buy a steak or beef Kabob ala carte and make my own rice at home. 2.5 stars overall..at this time I just can't give them more than that.

The food ordered here was just okay. Not at all authentic. I have had thousands of shawarmas in my life and have never eaten one with huge chunks of tomato and cucumber in it. The traditional garlic sauce wasn’t there either in the dish. Being run by Arabs I expected the food to be top notch but was a disappointment. It’s just a place to get food if you are starving after 10 pm when all restaurants are closed.

Great falafels - perfectly cooked with a nice spicy dipping sauce. Shawarmas a good. They're made with a tortilla instead of lavash, so it doesn't quite hit what I expect, but still tasty. Dolmas are good, but served warm without sauce, so not perfect. No line on a weekend evening, so good for a quick take out on the way home.
