This place is amazing. THE Turkish food comparable to the best food in Turkey! I enjoyed every single bite, especially free refill tasty tea. Also I highly recommend to try biggest breakfast that says for 4 people but it is more than enough for 4-5 people. My new favorite place in Bay Area! I highly recommend.

I had the Kavurma, and this was my first time eating here (or this dish either). Loved how the spices played together with the pita bread and the rice. I got here at 4 pm on a Tuesday so the place hardly had any guests. Would love to come back and try their breakfast menu. The restaurant was clean and had quality Turkish music playing in the background.

TLDR: food is good, service is chaotic We went on a Saturday at about 11am. I got excited that the place was swarming with people and a lot of them seemed to be Turkish people, indicating that the place was legit. My husband ordered #27 breakfast plate and I #30 simit, egg, sausage. We had to wait for almost 45 minutes for our food to come out. The breakfast plate is a cheese & fruit cold plate that doesn't need cooking and that can be prepared in 10-15 minutes. My simit is good but not worth 45 minutes of waiting. The place seems to be family run so I have some understanding that some of the people might not have restaurant experience. But they could have improved it by providing more training and have more efficient processes in place because the operation is a chaotic one. Maybe if you come later in the day or during weekdays it's a bit better.

TASTY, AUTHENTIC & FAMILY OWNED As you walk into this restaurant you notice their specialty: The pastries 🥮, which are freshly made and baked right there in front of you. Lucky for me, Feride helped me (You order at the register) and guided me to an authentic Turkish 🇹🇷 dish you can eat for breakfast or dinner: Shaksuka ($13.95), a couple of poached eggs 🍳 in a tomato 🍅 sauce with some spices on top. DELICIOUS! Although tea ☕️ is not the drink of choice for this, I got to drink original chai with some cookies 🍪, which I believe are called “Lokum” ($1.50 each). The dessert is so delicious that I had to try many more. 😳 #ruizmedina⭐️

I am always on the hunt for a new bakery. A friend had mentioned something about Turkish breakfast and I was intrigued! My first visit to the bakery, the woman saw my quizzical face and explained each pastry to me. My second visit I brought a friend and excitedly asked to order a Turkish breakfast. Apparently that is NOT how you order!! We opted for the Antolia plate and it was still too much food! If you are unsure about what you are ordering, ask! The people there are quite helpful!

They have a tremendously large selection of sweet and savory pastries. We had two types of pogaca, simit with egg and soujuk, achma (get the olive one!), beef bourek, mini sandwich with cheese, this amazing tahini swirled bread, Turkish coffee, and the breakfast plate. There was also meneme, a soft egg scramble (with a smooth texture not like your typical egg scramble but the texture of soft curdled milk) that was mixed with tomato and other vegetables served in a small skillet - highly recommend. Fairly certain I missed some items but wow food was wonderful. The staff were very patient while we took our time to examine the entirety of their display case. Will definitely come back to try their sweet pastries and cookies.

Feride's Bakery is one of remaining "original" Turkish bakery. Everything is baked fresh early in the morning and nothing is leftover for the next day. But it's still recommended that you come here early to get your baked goods while it's fresh and warm. There are a lot of goodies that you'd typically find at any Turkish bakery, but there is no other Turkish Bakery in the town. The workers here are sweet and you'll definitely leave happy and satisfied.
