I must say my first experience was “ off the food charts!” I was referred to Off the Block by my daughter..: it’s her husband’s favorite place for food which they order from frequently.
Nick went above and beyond to provide exemplary customer service when I placed our 1st Thanksgiving order three weeks ago. We are SO looking forward to our meal this Thursday. It was such a pleasure dealing with this store that I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and again!!

We had lunch here the other day and had the most amazing parmesan truffle wings I've ever eaten. We each had a wonderful meal... I had the pastrami Reuben and someone had the burger and the steak sandwich and we all thought they were delicious! The beer selection was great and also very tasty! I would highly recommend you stop here for a meal and a beer!

We’ve eaten here a number of times and it never disappoints. The meats from the butcher side are always so fresh. If you have the steak there, don’t skip the topping, it is mouthwatering. Menu changes for the season and the short ribs I had there recently were out of this world. So tender and full of flavor! Hubby is a big fan of the Korean Chicken Sandwich. Everyone who works there is a delight! Big ups to Connor and Steve!

Their chili espresso wings are the best wings I’ve ever tasted outside of making my own!
These are perfectly prepared. When you know, you know. The chicken is flavorful, meaty, and perfectly seasoned!

Could very well be the best restaurant on long island. The chili espresso wings are in my opinion the best wings anywhere. I honestly haven't had wings half as good as these are. If you've ever had a poor experience here trust me come back.

Great local spot for brunch. I ordered the skirt steak with eggs...came out perfectly medium rare. Blubbery pancakes had a lovely lemon taste which was so good. I just wished they had better coffee to complement the food, but it wasn't very good. Still a great place... I'll be back here again.

Wonderful meal at Off the Block!
I love trying octopus at restaurants and this one was okay compared to others. The octopus was very chewy rather than supple and buoyant. The sauce in the charred octopus was excellent though! The potatoes were flavorful and soft. I really loved those potatoes and it’s super filling! We also got the all-American burger which was good as well.

Nice place with great fare and friendly staff, the only reason why not five stars is because they didn't have any dry-aged meats available when we went, even though a third of their prime-cuts steakhouse menu is dry-aged. Also, the dining area has limited space, a table for five can be a little tight as they'll likely place a chair at the end of a four-topper. Their quality is premium so expect to pay that premium. I'll definitely be back to try their dry-aged steaks.
