Landmark Deli

I grew up across from this deli growing up, and my whole family worked there before the new owners. I was sad to hear the location burned down, and have been long anticipating the opening. I moved down to Florida about 10 years ago, and this is my first stop every time I’m back. I’m happy to report that the deli still gives me the same nostalgia. I had to go with my old school classics like the BEC over easy, Big Henry, and the potato salad. I must have ordered there 5 times during my visit. Nothing is ever EXACTLY the same as an original, but you’re doing a great job! Please open one in St. Pete, FL lol

After getting lunch from PPD we picked up a catering menu. After agonizing over all the choices, we ordered a wrap platter, vegetable basket, and cheese and cracker basket . I was unprepared for how beautifully crafted they would be. I don't have pictures, which is a shame-the vegetable basket was a piece of art with a hollowed out purple cabbage and vegetable dip as the center. I'm happy to say that the food was delicious and there were few leftovers. When packing up, multiple people offered to take what was left! My family and I highly recommend PPD for catering.

I have been coming to this deli for years and love it even more now since they re-opened. The place is very well lit and clean and there food is always fresh. They also catered my daughter’s graduation party and the quality of food and platters they made were beautiful. Their Penne a la Vodka is the best I’ve ever had and my guests raved about the food. Would recommend hands down to anyone looking for catering or a great breakfast or lunch sandwich.

Really happy this place is open again! Made to order sandwiches are delicious, albeit very expensive. $12+ for turkey and cheese on wheat bread is definitely more than I was expecting; however, it was fresh and perfectly made. I will definitely still frequent for the quality, though maybe not as often as I'd like due to the cost.
