What a place on the seafront at Scarborough and one of the oldest buildings in the town dating back to the 1400's.bar and eatery. We had fish and chips tea and bread and butter for four of us and we all really enjoyed it and for just over £50 it seems very well priced. Definitely go again. I'd score it 8.5 out of 10.

Great find whilst looking for breakfast. The staff were friendly and helped to seat us and took our order at the table. The food came out quick and was of good quality. This is now my go-to place whilst in Scarborough for food.

Great place to take in the view. and people watch, great food,and lovely staff. Lots of seating inside and outside.

Didn't see the need to wait to be seated, Having said that all was good 1 of the few pubs these days where you can get a good beer not this fancy fruity flavoured new fangled beers, beers were good staff was friendly just a good clean pub. didn't eat so cant comment on the food.

Called in today for Sunday lunch and was met by a very polite , welcoming young man. He showed us to a table and a few minutes later a waitress took our order. She too was extremely polite and friendly. We ordered a Chicken and Stuffing Sunday Roast and the Homemade Meat Pie. The meals were absolutely delicious, hot and plentiful. If we're in Scarborough again on holiday we shall definitely return!

Only had drinks. March 16th just before closing. Young waitress was brilliant. Great customer service. Nice drinks to.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. We popped in for a lunchtime snack and had a panini each. Food was perfect, chips were like old chippy chips and the portion size and side salad with the panini was ideal. Definately recommend and will come here again when we’re in the area.
