The Backyard

Went there on a Wednesday shortly after opening. It was empty, and I was concerned the food wouldn't take a while & taste good. I ordered a cheese burger, and my wife got the pork bites & wings. The burger was juicey & tasty. An old-fashioned burger, exactly what I wanted. The pork bites had some kind of Korean BBQ taste (sweet). Will definitely go back again.

Absolutely loved this place! The vibe was perfect, very light and relaxing! Hubby and I came for brunch. Our server was Rae and she was awesome, very attentive! Hubby had the chicken and waffles and I had the crawfish Benedict, both meals were excellent! Rae had the task of picking the flavors for our Mimosa flights and she did perfectly! Definitely found a hidden little gem!

Came here to have a few drinks and the bartender Jayla made me the best drink I've ever tried! I definitely have to come back To see her! And The manager Shelbi is absolutely amazing, checked on me multiple times and made sure my visit was good! All the staff is so attentive and caring! I would share a picture of my food but it smelt so good I ate it before I took a picture! I definitely recommend this place!

Cutest place to eat in Seabrook. Inside seating is available but I recommend their super cute patio spot! Just tried their brunch for the first time and 🤤. If you like bloody Mary’s, you’ll love the flight of them. The spicy one and meat lovers one are soo good. Highly recommend! Dog friendly too!! There mac and cheese is also amazing.

Hubby and I ate brunch here on a Sunday. A waiter came to get our drink order pretty quickly and brought our drinks out quickly. Got our food order quickly, but after that, there wasn't much service. I dont remember anyone coming by to ask how the food was. We had to ask the food runner for refills because our drinks had been empty a while. But everyone was very friendly. We ordered a bloody mary flight and it was delicious and worth the 24 bucks. I think one was bbq, 1 was spicy, 1 had garlic, 1 was regular (I think. They weren't labeled and Noone told us so I'm going off what I tasted) we thought the food was pretty good. The potatoes could've been cooked a little longer. A little bit pricey for the amount you get in my opinion. I would like to go back and try the lunch/dinner menu. Hoping servers are Normally more attentive.

Food was AMAZING but the service was slow and not good at all. I ordered the friend pickles and pork belly bites and omg! Phenomenal! An the portions are massive. The mimosa flights were good, sad that the max and cheese is not available during the daytime. I will be back and hope to have better service so I can add bump the review to 5 stars. Seriously, if you have time and aren’t in a hurry, the food is so worth the wait!

I’ve been wanting to come here for almost a year. Today was the day and I’m so glad we did! We ate inside near the backside windows. Seating was comfortable and so was the temp. Not too cold or hot. Our server was also one of the chefs there. So it was nice to get some food recommendations catered to what we told him we liked. We ordered for 7 people. The Strawberry Gimlet was smooth and hit the spot. Their Bloody Mary original flavor was really good. My husband had the smoked Old Fashion and he said it was even better than the one he gets at his favorite distillery in Austin. Tacos were a perfect flavor. I am so coming back on Tuesday for that taco flight! Shrimp Poboys were flavorful and they made one without the bun for my picky eater. She devoured it all. Backyard burger had an interesting fun taste. Kids menu items were good quality chicken and they didn’t skimp on the portions either. We played some cornhole on the way out in the back, so that was fun for the kids before the drive home. Overall it’s a great place with quality food and service. Bonus we got a heart shaped fried pickle with our appetizer! Very cool!

We decided to be adventurous and try something other than our usual go-to's for an early Friday night dinner. Tucked away just a few blocks off of 146 in Seabrook is this hidden gem, The Backyard. We sat in the back room near the kitchen due to a private event that was coming in later. While it would have been a little too hot to sit outside in the yard, we hope to come back when the weather is cooler to enjoy this space as it has an extremely relaxing and inviting vibe! We started with the fried pickles (pretty standard FP) and the pork belly bites WOW, the pork belly was spectacular! We had our two kids with us, and the oldest ordered a bacon cheese burger, and the youngest had a kids burger. The bacon cheese burger was juicy and full of great flavor. The kids burger was fine, a little small, but it was cooked well for a kids burger! My mom ordered the brisket baked potato, and it did not disappoint. My husband had the wings and tacos, also delicious. I had The Backyard burger, a unique but extremely enjoyable and satisfying combination of flavors!! If you haven't already, go check this place out! We'll definitely be back!

Great spot for Saturday brunch before an afternoon of sailing! I had the crawfish cakes benedict; it was perfectly cooked and so unique! Grits on the side were creamy and smooth. I asked for a mimosa and the server suggested a flight of 4 different flavored ones. Mind blown! I had never heard you could make mimosas with anything other than OJ. It happened to be my birthday, a difficult one thus year, and I was definitely lifted up by this wonderful meal. The chef is working on adding some new dishes to their already extensive menu so you must get down to Seabrook and check out this fun and funky place!
