Agua Verde Cafe

The was great. It was my first time there. You order first, then you go to your table and they bring your food and drinks. We had a view of the Mountlake cut and some ducks and boats. It was a mostly quiet atmosphere. I had the Pollo burrito, and my wife had the butternut squash enchilada. She says it was really, really good.

The vibe on the outside deck is great, dogs are welcome on the patio ! And the place has the best Elote I’ve had, the food becomes punchier if you help yourself to the salsa from self serve salsa counter so you can balance it according to your palate -Esp. If you have kids with you. Must visit for the patio views of the bay, hot food , generous serving size and cocktails

Anya was a fantastic server. She sold us on the chips and was great about explaining their ordering system. We were able to sit in the marina cafe, which is dog friendly, after paddle boarding. Ordered prickly pear and wild flower margarita (add jalapeño!) Baja tacos 🌮 were amazing! All the salsa is made in house and they have house made cocktails to go. Thanks for a wonderful Saturday!

Specifically for their breakfast burritos. I think you only get 1-2 options but they’re delicious and filling. Chips are extra, and salsa bar is free. Even though we were the first ones in on a Sunday morning, the food takes a bit to come out, maybe 15 min for 4 burritos? Staff seems majority UW students but they were all great and kind. While you wait, enjoy the view and the nice covered patio. It’s fun, go!
