Top Pot Coffee & Doughnuts - Capitol Hill

These donuts are truly incredible. I sincerely enjoy the summit location which is shaded and in a beautiful setting. The coffee shop itself has tall, dark bookshelves along the walls and the service is lovely. Top pot makes a very hearty maple bar, my fav. I haven’t seen a larger one anywhere else. In its largeness, it is also formidable without being heavy or cake like, it truly is donut mastery. I haven’t tried the other donuts because I can’t not get the maple bar. I also love the coffee they serve there, a rich Italian like roast with lots of body to match the great flavor of the baked goods.

Wonderful, quiet space to read or work, with good service and excellent coffee and doughnuts. I'm from Cincinnati. Every time I visit Seattle I hang out here at least one long, wonderful morning. I let myself eat a doughnut (Or two). Visited Seattle again last week and spent two long wonderful mornings working at Top Pot. Quiet, delicious, friendly, gorgeous, relaxing. I don't want to leave. Are there apartments above this place?

You can’t go wrong at Top Pot!! I stopped in it a quick latte & apple fritter and it was absolutely perfect. Great atmosphere, quick service, perfect location with plenty of street parking. I feel like the other locations always run out of donut options pretty quickly, or they aren’t quite as fresh... This place on this day had a TON and they all looked amazing. There was a line to the door when I walked in, and lots of people sitting using the Wi-Fi, but my coffee came out really quickly, it was great!

I always liked their doughnuts. We tried the chocolate bar which was pretty good. We also got the plain glazed which is a classic and also my safe order. I tried the maple frosted which was pretty good as well but the least favorite of mine among the three. They do have a lot more variety and I like the coffee as well. The store has a nice vibe with super great service.
