I love Rachel’s bagels. The fact that they are completely covered in poppy or sesame seeds makes them outstanding in the crowd of bagel shops. And the bagels have a great chew whether you are eating them straight out of the bag or straight of the toaster.

We stopped in for breakfast on a Monday morning. I chose The Nino Art bagel sandwich on a Za’atar bagel and it was fantastic - a delicious riff on a traditional lox bagel. My partner got the burrito special, which had linguica sausage. It was also great! I hope to return on our next trip to Seattle. The only thing I’d do differently is order online; we didn’t wait long at all after ordering in person, but there’s no seating available, so you might as well order ahead for pick-up.

A small but good bagel place. They only offer takeouts as of now though. Tried the tarragon cream cheese and was pretty good.

This place not only passes the NYC bagel test (right size, consistency, and spread-to-bagel ratios) but also has solid burritos and coffee as well! We came in right as they were closing and while they were out of many of their bagels, the ones we got still tasted fresh and delicious, and they even gave us a few more to take home for free since they were closing right then.

My husband and I read about Rachel's online as a must-visit spot for breakfast while staying in Ballard so obviously we had to check it out. It was a quick walk from our hotel and it was only a short wait to order once we got there. We each ordered a sandwich, I had The Ezzard Charles (egg, kale, oyster mushrooms, and scallion-cheddar spread) on a za'atar bagel, my husband had The Nino Art (PNW coho lox, scallion cream cheese, pickled jalapeno, avocado, cilantro, and onion) on a togarashi bagel. We also ordered an everything bagel with dill pickle cream cheese to share. The sandwiches were fantastic - so much flavor packed in! The quality of the ingredients is great too, everything was so fresh and delicious. The texture of the bagels is magical - just toasty enough on the outside but soft and tender on the inside. And the spreads? All amazing! The dill pickle cream cheese was my favorite - a must-get for all pickle lovers. I would happily return to Rachel's the next time we visit Seattle and if you haven't been there yet - I don't know what you're waiting for!

I would definitely comeback. I don’t recall the name of my bagel sandwich but it was really good. It was like upscale version of a BLT. The bagel had good flavor and soft. What really won me over was the heirloom tomatoes and bacon. Very good with the Everything Bagel. That was probably the best bagel I had. It’s just covered in the Everything Bagel seasoning. I can’t wait to try the other food here. They do offer chorizo and Oaxaca cheese for anyone that is a fan of both! They also had this Asian style bagel that had seaweed flakes that I didn’t get to try. I say it’s worth the trip. 🤤

Absolutely loved my take-away meal from Rachel’s on a recent visit to Seattle. Left me craving more. Can’t wait to go back.

An absolutely top notch bagel. We're very lucky to to have them right here in Ballard.
I wish they had other fish options than just lox(sable would be a great addition), just for some variety, but their classic lox bagel(Meesa B) is excellent. It is a little light on the lox for my taste, but probably the expected amount for most people.

The biscuit sandwiches are a must! First trip I tried the McJoey, delicious. The next time I tried the Hello Mac Nasty, also delicious. Today we swung by here after going to the gym nearby and let me tell you, they have a new biscuit sandwich called the Mac-Monchy, which we tried today. It is slap-you-in-the-face DELICIOUS! Omg, i didn’t even eat it right away so it was luke-warm by the time we got home. But it is a 100% must try. We’ve had several of their bagels with cream cheese also and they are great if the biscuit sandwiches aren’t your thing. We’ll be back for sure!

Amazing bagels, coffee that's coffee, and mid burritos. The The Agnes Agatha Jermaine & Jack with chopped bacon, heirloom tomato, arugula, and scallion cream cheese is one of the best bites I've had in Seattle! Egg based sandwiches have baked patties which always leaves something to be desired compared to a fried egg. Chili crisp latte surprisingly worked, but was too much for an entire 8oz drink. Best bagel flavors sell out early, especially on weekends, so be prepared to get there early if you want them.
