Pie Bar Ballard

An amazing place open till late night when you are craving some dessert after a long drinking session with your friends. They have sweet and savory pies and also serve alcohol. We got the strawberry and the chocolate chip pie and had some Baileys to go with it. Overall its a decent place and the service was good as well!

We used Pie Bar for our wedding dessert truck in June 2023. We have been long time fans of Pie Bar and wanted it to be part of our special day! The pie, of course, was delicious! However, Pie Bar was not the easiest to work with in terms of communication. I was in contact with an individual who took a deposit to reserve our wedding date months prior to the event. When it was a month out from the wedding and I hadn’t heard from anyone about finalizing our payment, I reached out via email to the person I had been corresponding with. No response. Emailed again. No response. I then found her cell phone number in my records and texted her. She casually mentioned she didn’t work at Pie Bar anymore, and then gave me the owner’s number so we could connect. The owner was extremely responsive and reassuring, however, I did feel that it should have been their job to more proactively communicate with me as the customer about their team turnover, rather than me as the customer going through that leg work. With all of the wedding stress mounting the month beforehand, it made us want to look into other dessert options. However, the day of the wedding, Pie Bar was on time and delivered! Our guests were raving about the pie and how yummy it was. We’re happy it all worked out!

I enjoy the concept meshing pie and cocktails Service is prompt, kind, and the pie is not overly sweet. My partner and I split the Ballard Bumble Berry Crumble which utilized sliced apples marinated in berries in sugar to great affect. The result is a delicate pie, with an nice crust on top. We didn't have any cocktails, but I'd like to go in the future.

Met up with friends at this amazing spot for pie and drinks! Arrived just long of happy hour (4-7pm everyday of the week). I enjoyed the pumpkin pietini and split a slice of the cookies and cream pie with my partner. Both were fantastic, but the dessert drinks were particularly fantastic. Also tried a sip of the apple pie moonshine, super refreshing and not too sweet A nice atmosphere for chatting, not too loud and cute aesthetic. A little expensive on the college budget, but definitely worth it as a fun treat! Would love to return.

Really cool environment. I always feel super anxious going to new places but I was able to quickly relax and have a good time after a rough day at work. All of the workers there were super friendly and all together it was a lovely time. I will definitely be back for the hot schnopelete and the lemony snicket (highly recommend).
