One of the best omakase experiences I've ever had. Chef really knows his fish, and lovingly takes diners on a journey on the fish, how it was chosen, aged and prepared. Watching him prepare and plate the fish was also a real treat. It's rather hypnotizing.
Everything feels very intimate and more like you're eating dinner at a friend's very nice home. Assuming of course, that your friend also had access to some of the best fish available.
Highly recommend, will come back.

Loved everything about the omakase experience from the intimate feel of the dining experience, the fresh fish, how delicious and healthily portioned every course was, and not only how knowledgeable and experienced the chef is but also how approachable he is.

Wonderful choice for sushi togo!
I would highly recommend the Sushi omakase for togo, it has really nice flavor with 11pcs of sushi in total with $42 price (before tax).
The toro (tuna belly) and scallop are the highlights of the box, and the technique of the chef is also awesome.
For most sushi restaurants, the sushi rice usually falls apart when you use chopsticks to hold the sushi, but the ones here quite stick together and the fish is covering the rice.
Overall, it is a really good sushi Togo, but remember to order ahead!

One of the better Omakase that we have enjoyed compared to other West Coast cities. Sushi quality is excellent, and directly flown in from various regions of Japan as well as local and US destinations like Bainbridge Island, Alaska, Canada, etc. Very intimate setting with only 6 chef bar seats. Reservations must be made way in advance (max 6 months out). Can always check for last minute cancellations night before. Chef was friendly and engaging. Worth the very filling, personalized experience and fantastic quality of fish.

This is a very impressive Japanese sushi restaurant in the Ravenna area. The dishes are executed with high quality ingredients and a clean, minimalist presentation. Everything on the menu was fresh, the restaurant was clean, and I really appreciated their attention to detail. I highly recommend ordering off of their a la carte menu if you know what to get. Otherwise, go for the omakase. You won't go wrong with either. They also have beer and sake too.

This is a solid sushi place and worth a try! They use good quality fish, and the sushi rice is well prepared with balanced taste and solid temperature control.
I like the vibe of the place as well, it's minimalist and clean. The choices of miso soup are also a plus!
Seaweed salad was interesting and different from what you typically get. I liked it, but I can see how it's not for everyone.
Green tea is complementary, AS IT SHOULD BE, though it gets a call out because no other sushi restaurant seems to understand this tradition :)
Service was very friendly, but unfortunately the food took way too long to come out (almost 50mins for 7 pieces of sushi).
I'll probably come back and sit at the bar to see how the experience evolves vs. sitting at a table. I'll update this review once that happens.

Good quality sushi and reasonably priced. The best seat is the chef's table which apparently has a different (or more expanded) menu, but alas, we couldn't get a reservation. We ended up sitting at a table and ordered the omakase. It was a nice selection and included a really nice piece of Japanese uni - yum! We also ordered the black sea bass which started off tasty but was a bit too chewy in the end. Skip that dish

This was, hands down, the most exquisite sushi experience I've had in my life so far. The environment is peaceful, sophisticated, and immersive. The food is delectable, thoughtfully prepared and arranged, and sooo beautiful. I felt like I was eating art. We decided to choose the menu option of having the Chef decide what our dishes were, since the restaurant's specialty was Omakase. We couldn't have made a wiser decision. Everything was brought out with perfect timing between each other, and we tried so many dishes that we have never had in other sushi restaurants in the past. It was also quite a nice experience being able to watch the sushi chefs prepare their fish right next to us.
Please do yourself a treat and pay this place a visit. It is well worth the price and wait to get in (if you come during busy hours).
