Atmos: Fancy Industrial. Solid wood tables. Smells like a smokehouse :) Warm yellow tint lighting, music flux between bass club vibe and relaxing guitar, but really cold!! Everytime I've been here I need to wear my coat, so maybe dress warm if you run cold. App: Mollettes: Good :) does the job but gets soggy quickly The stars of the show are the steaks: New York Strip: Tasty, tender, cooked well. For this person, all the different Mexican sauces and picos made it a great experience and tastier than the average steak places. They rate this New York Strip a 4.2 of 5. Full-blooded Australian Waygu Filet Mignon: Yes! Hands down one of my favorite filets in Seattle. The flavor is so good and very noticable quality (I know this because I never use sauces or anything anywhere and always taste just the meat). The texture is perfect, the flavor is full and rich and smokey and everything you could want in a flame spiked steak. 5 of 5 for me. Service: Very friendly. Perfect timing for water and attention. Knowledgeable.

A local favorite for a decent steak with fixings and local chatter. The vacío was well prepared for med-rare on the stone, the torta could have done without the fried cheese, and the tortillas were slow to come, but all in all the sides, marrow and mains were excellent! An excellent spot for a lunch date!

Have been here twice and the food and service have been excellent both times. The meat is well seasoned, cooked to your preferred temp and finished table side on a sizzling hot plate. The tortillas are soft and pliable and the salsas add a great acidity to the meals. We ordered some veggies to counterbalance the meat heavy dishes and were pleasantly surprised. The roasted cauliflower with habanero truffle sauce was a great addition. Also the drinks are top notch. This is an around solid steakhouse and great date night location.

Wow and can I say wow again. I’m a big time foodie and have been to many restaurants all over the world and my experience here was one of the best of my life. The food was absolutely exceptional, and enjoyed every bite and left me wanting for more. Our server was fantastic and was very knowledgeable. Would go here again and again. My only recommendation would be to turn the music down slightly to allow for better conversation. Otherwise phenomenal and highly recommend.

God this place is good. Favorite steakhouse in the city. Zero pretentiousness. Excellent servers, attentive and know the meat very well. Cocktails are inventive and beautiful. And the steaks. Oh the steaks. They come out on hot plates, quite rare and you can finish on the cast iron, even 45 min after the mains come out. Tables are well lit, but not bright and sound levels are just right. A special place for sure and so nice to have this here in Ballard. Rez highly recommended!

We had an incredible meal here. This wouldn’t be where we would normally go to eat as I thought we weren’t steakhouse people but it turns out we really are. We were looking for a place that would accommodate our Whole30/low to no carb diet and this place fit the bill. Even if we weren’t doing a diet, I would come back here. The steaks were next level with their flavor, and made so perfectly well. We started with a guacamole that was different than any other guacamole I’ve had. It was absolutely delicious, especially when paired with the array of sauces that they offer you. The service with some of the best I had in the city, old-school, confident, and incredibly professional. Our cocktails were to die for, and just added to the already truly lovely meal. I will say that the smoke and heat from the gorgeous but intense steak presentation was a little much, but honestly, this place is a keeper, and it just fit into the whole ambience of everything.
