The Berliner Doner Kebab

Great Donner! (A donner is a lot like a gyro, but originates from Turkey, not Greece - they are extremely popular in Germany, hence the name) This is a great stop for lunch. They have Donner's, salads, and wraps. I've had the donner and a wrap. Both were great. The bread will get soggy from the garlic sauce, so if your taking to a game eat it soon or ask to have the sauce on the side. The sauce is great so don't skip it. I have stopped in for dinner and found out they were out of bread or meat, now I call ahead. I've never had that issue at lunch time.

What a pleasent surprise in pioneer Street area! I've nevar tried a Doner before and this place had me introduced to this new and delicious world! Vegetables are fresh, meats are cooked to perfection and Doner fitted exactly to my hungry. Got a can of local beer as well. Just awesome. Prices are fair and staff was pretty sweet.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Pioneer Square. I used to work very close and went all the time but can't do that anymore. So, whenever I'm in the neighborhood, I make sure to go. The food is SO flavorful and worth every penny. The meat is very high quality and seasoned to perfection, the veggies are always fresh crisp, and the flatbread is so good I could eat it on its own.

The food is delicious and varied. There's several different types of kebabs of varying meats. The bread they come in is amazing! Super soft and made fresh daily - they mean it when they advertise this point. Otherwise, there are several types of wraps to substitute for bread (the roll is pretty big) and decent vegetarian options. The spicy dishes are actually spicy which is my favorite part. The price is about average. They do lose one star because of how hilariously bad their service is, but I still go back all the time just because you can't beat that food. It's that good.

The food was excellent and so was the beer. The bread is insanely thick but tasty. I'm not sure if I just caught the service on a bad day, but the front end was rather grumpy. We continued to be nice, but the cold attitude was off-putting. Overall though, the food made up for it all. Worth checking out.
