Spud Fish & Chips

Stopped by here after taking a stroll around Green Lake and all I can say that it was nothing short of amazing! The staff were very friendly and the place has great ambience. Portions were also nice for the price and the fish and chips tasted great! Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for a great fish and chips restaurant in Seattle!

Spud's is a nostalgic fish house for me. I discovered it in college when it was a stand along fish shack. I took my son and his girlfriend there, and the food took me right back to the summer of 1987. Delicious, fast, and right across the street from one of the best urban parks (Greenlake) in the country. Can't wait to visit again.

Love the spot. Especially the slaw and garlic malt vinegar. Really like the mid century style and history of the spot. Kinda sad that it's gonna change and be part of a huge apartment but hopefully it's good for them! Super good check it out! (Update!) just got back after the long remodel, fish and chips, onion rings, slaw, garlic vinegar as exactly the same as I remember. Hooray! Same great people too! Seems the shakes, Jones soda and a few other items are removed from the menu but maybe they’ll bring them back?? Gotta get people to start asking for them and cross my fingers!

We stopped in here on our way out of town because we heard they had great fish and chips. We weren't disappointed! The fish was spot on. We also got clam chowder, onion rings, a corn dog, chicken strip, and last but not least, a pickle. Everything was delicious. They also offer ALLLLLL the dips and vinegar. The staff was super friendly. The family left with full bellies for the long trek home!
