Aladdin Gyro-cery

The atmosphere is really small and conjusterd.The place is small and has not enough room for people 😒. The bathrooms look like they weren't cleaned for about 10 yrs. There is graffiti all around it and it smells horrible 😫. There is one side where there isn't a door and all the cold air runs through the building. The bathrooms again were small and horrible there is only 2 single bathrooms each worse than the other. There are not alot of tables. But the food is amazing it is so good we ate alot so I would definitely recommend coming here for the food and for the help the workers did to us they politely spoke to us. Best mediterian resturant. We had the best time and ate the best food.

Over the last 8 or 9 years that I have been traveling to the U-district, this has been my go-to place for meeting contacts and friends. I have never been disappointed in their gyros or service. The owner is hands-on and has grown this business for more than 30 years. Their garlic sauce is the boss of sauces... It is amazing! Their platters are generous, their gyros are satisfying, and their atmosphere is bustling. They recently remodeled and increased the amount of room to move around the restaurant. Feel free to sit in the Char Burger seating next door. Overall, they have only improved their operation as time has passed. Keep up the good work!

I think their management underwent recent changes, which also seems to have affected the flavor. In the past, I wasn't a frequent visitor due to my initial dislike of this place. However, the Shawarma is now quite flavorful and rich in taste, although it can occasionally be a bit dry. In my last visit, I noticed that there was hardly any sauce in the Shawarma. It's a great spot for a late-night snack. My review is mainly based on all my past and present experiences since the change. Came in for lunch about 11:15am. Only 2 other people dining in. Quick service. I ordered the 9B. Aladdin's Special Gyro $10.99 (Extra lamb & beef or chicken gyro with grilled onions, tomatoes, feta cheese, and garlic sauce). Made it a combo for few dollars more (crinkle cut fries and a canned soda). Total cost with 15% tip was $17.26. I paid with a credit card. Gyro was delish and a large amount of food for me. Meat was tender and pita bread was soft. There is a garlic sauce they add that makes this gyro truly stand out from others! The resturant is small and can only seat about 25 people. No outdoor seating. My only complaint is that it was hot inside when I dined in. I know AC is not a regular thing in the PNW, but it was only 73 degrees today. Overall, a good lunch, filling, and totally post lunch nap worthy zzzz....

One of my go to spots for late night food. They are open till late I think 2:30 am or maybe 3 and they serve tasty food. Recently I tried the lamb shawarma which was pretty good and tasty. We also took dinner special with chicken. Both were pretty good and I liked the shawarma better. Overall a nice place with fast service

Visiting from California, kids were craving gyro. Happen to pick this place by chance. Boy!! we were pleasantly surprised. Having visited Mediterranean/Gyro places across the country from New York to Florida to Texas and California - this one definitely way up there!!. Ordered (9b) Aladdin Gyro, (12b) Kofta Kabab, (22) Dinner special Platter and (11b) Chicken Shawarma. Food made from fresh ingredients was delicious. Everyone cleared their plates!! Really really enjoyed every bit of delicious food!! Staff was friendly, helped and guided us with ordering.
