Aloha Plates

Fast service for a downtown lunch in the International District. I've ordered from here multiple times, and I simply order a cheeseburger, which is basically bread, meat and cheese, and fries for a quick grab-and-go lunch. I'm good with this but if you are looking for a fancy burger this is not it, heads up. Fries are tasty but greasy (and to some greasy makes the best tasty fries!). There is limited shared space to sit and eat.

Aloha Plates is a Hawaiian take out place right inside the food hall of Uwaijimaya. Lunch can get busy, but is the best time since they just make the mac salad right then. Prices are decent and portion size is good, taste is there as well. The service is good, they cook things right in front of you. There is very little seating inside the food hall so be prepared to take it to go.

Great spot! Shares building with the Uwajimaya in Chinatown/International District. I had the loco moco. The macaroni salad was delicious. It's homemade, fresh, in-house everyday. It had a bold pepper taste. I love pepper and typically have to add extra pepper to all of my food but this was spot on perfect. The brown gravy was my favorite. Reminded me of my Grandma's homemade gravy she'd make for dinner when I was a kid. I work in that area and frequent the Uwajimaya for lunch on my break a lot. I've passed Aloha Plates for the past two years now and decided to try it finally today. My personal mistake. Will be regular.

FoodComa right now. Ordered To-Go, and what made it more awesome was the Teriyaki juice soaked up by the rice. Island style for sure. Friendly staff and overall great experience on To-Go pick-up & delivery. *Have had their plates and Musubi multiple times. 5★. A place to keep coming back to! Customer service & food is top notch for the price. Champion.

Had one of the best lunch after a horrible bad day. First, the people are really nice and friendly making me feel very welcomed all the time. Second, the food is of high quality and we love the lunch combo. Only around 8bucks and you get the whole plate of brown rice with generous serving of teriyaki chicken and cutlet! They are made to order and very yummy! Aloha Plates is a must try. Thanks for making my day. Highly recommended.
