Wonderful coffee shop with great atmosphere and genuinely nice staff. They make the drip coffee in small batches, so what you get is super fresh even if you have to wait a minute or two for a new batch to brew. They might even let you pick the roast if you're lucky.

A quiet and attentive coffee shop. A place for good coffee, good pastries and a conversation with a friend. There are seldom any noisey little children there. Also good for sitting there and getting a little reading done. It has big bright Windows, even on an overcast day, ideal for watching the people walking by.

The best? In a city like Seattle, great coffee is a high bar. Peet's is the oldest of the best, the old guard of coffee, the tough old man who knows the world-- that kind of coffee. There are a few contenders for "best" across Seattle, there really are. I can name them, and if you've read this far, I bet you can, too. Peets is up there. Top three, for sure. At some point, it's a matter of the day and what you're in the mood for. Peet's. Is. That. Good. Not just any Peet's, either, but this one, where it's chill, and they play classical music, and you can look out onto the lake. Coffee and calm and tree-lined beauty. Ahhhh. Another cup?

Love the location and service here. The baristas are always so friendly. It’s an ideal location next to Green Lake and makes the perfect post run/walk spot. There is limited indoor seating and some outdoor seating depending on the weather. Overall great spot and good coffee

Ended up at Peet's Coffee over the weekend rather than my go-tos since my boyfriend loves their coffee (he used to have it all the time in NYC where we lived). I had an iced latte - their sizes are enormous. I had a large and it was the size of a soda cup! Not that that's a bad thing... Coffee was good, we brought our puppy so had to sit outside at one of their patio tables. Everything was fine, it just felt more chain-like to me, and with so many cute independent shops around I don't think I'd be a frequent customer. Peet's Coffee is good for grabbing a coffee on the go! #localguides #coffee

Hands down, my favorite coffee shop in Greenlake! Always relaxed, peaceful vibes, whether its empty or full of readers and students. Good for studying, chatting with a friend, or even just relaxing and staring out the window at the great view of the lake. Baristas are super sweet, cheerful and helpful. Was here on the first snow day of the year working remotely, and they managed to be open when many others were shut down due to icy roads. Branched out and tried the golden matcha latte (almond milk, honey, ginger, tumeric, matcha powder), and will definitely be returning to order another. Not the cheapest, but a delicious, warm, and comforting drink in a great environment.

I coach for a living and meet clients here before walking Green Lake and getting Nature's glad tidings, solving problems, changing the world to be more peaceful and courageous. You need great coffee to do take the next step, and Peet's has the best in the west for flavor if you like dark roasts. Great people behind the counter and excellent service.

The quality of Peet's coffee is far superior to any other chain store, and even surpasses some of my favorite local independent cafes. Glad to see they are at Green Lake.

If you're looking for a place other then Starbucks around Greenlake Peet's is a great alternative, it's also basically now a days the only stand alone Peet's. We stopped by after walking around the lake hoping to grab some coffee and sit inside as it was a somewhat chilly day but inside the tables only accommodate two people and certainly no room for a stroller. They definitely cater to one person and a person meant to sit there for a long time. We tried to move two tables together but it just wasn't going to happen. We ended up having to sit outside and drink our beverages fast. It's not very family friendly as there's not much room for a stroller to get in their.
