Caliburger

not too much people here eating. It use to be the it spot a few years ago with long lines. I went today on a Saturday around 6pm no customers beside us. The kiosk is pretty cool but still prefer a traditional cashier. The staff was nice, I had the BBQ chicken burger the sauce was tasty. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the bread it was okay but very mcdonald like bun.

The food was great, the facial recognition order taker was weird, but my order was free. It's almost as good as in n out. Close but not exact. Store floor and bathroom was super dirty! Staff was super super nice and helpful, so it's a toss up. Creapy register order machine and dirty restaurant or 300 miles to In-n-out.

Hey! First visit to CaliBurger today and I'll give it a "thumbs up". I had the double cheese burger and fries. The burger was juicy, fresh toppings Warning: It's just a basic burger, you need to customize it to your taste. The self order flat screen kiosk worked flawlessly. For $5.50 the burger was quite ample and the fries were good even though they were a bit cold, but still crispy, after my walk down the street to have an ale at Floating Bridge Brewing. The food came out quickly, the person helping me with the kiosk was knowledgeable. I will definitely go back to CaliBurger.

I'm a little annoyed at the other reviews here but hey, I'm a local fan. This is a greasy burger joint in the middle of U-District that doesn't pretend to be anything else. The burgers are decent, a bit on the pricey side but it's U-District where everything is too pricey so don't fault them too much. This is a decent burger joint in the middle of an expensive neighborhood. The staff appear overworked but are genuinely friendly when you show some courtesy (big surprise). Everything is made-to-order which I appreciate.

Finally had the opportunity to visit Washington State's answer to In N Out Burger and dare I say it...? It was tastier than In N Out. No bible verses on the bottom of the burger wrappers or cups - though - you can get beer, spiked milkshakes or chicken sandwiches. I'll definitely visit when in Seattle again.

Tasty, but pricey. Hand cut fries were properly cooked. Not soggy or limp, just the right amount of crunch and seasoned perfectly. Burger was great, better than the burger they are copying. The freestyle Coke machine was an added bonus. Parking was a problem. Had to pay to park in a lot in the next street them walk down a sketchy alley. Just wish I wasn't out $15.
