Harry's Chicken Joint

Great chicken but you need to order in advance if you actually want a whole and half chicken. In order to do that give them a call earlier in the day and leave them a voicemail is what I was told. We ordered the tenders with biscuits, gravy and mash potatoes and we were not disappointed! The owners were fantastic too!

Wife and I stopped in tonight for dinner and OH MY GOSH. This was absolutely the best chicken I’ve ever had! We shared half a chicken, mashed potatoes, and a biscuit (with their amazing gravy!) and immediately ordered more tenders because it was just that good!! Harry’s is definitely going to become a regular dinner spot for us.

Fried chicken might be my favorite dish. This was one of the best friend chicken I have ever eaten! The place is only open select hours and days of the weeks. This select time adds to the whole experience. When I made my way in I was amazed It was my first time. They cook the chicken right in front of you in a small little dinning area. I recommend dining in for the sizzling hot fried chicken and amazing vibe. Get that chicken before they run out!!

This is your ideal Mom n Pop shop. Fell in love with inside of the place, I was lucky enough to get greeted by the owners (who I think work there every day) but I received excellent service. The chicken was so tasty and not your normal greasy fried chicken you get from other chicken spots. Also I got the whole chicken which is fried in cast iron bowls I found out and believe me you can taste the difference. I would highly recommend this place to anyone

Fantastic little gem. They have a $5 plate that has 2 strips, mashed potatoes, and greens that is perfect! The honey mustard was fantastic. We happened to go on a Friday; found out Friday and Saturday nights are rib nights and they were fantastic too. We got there as soon as they opened so it was slow which was fantastic because it gave us a chance to talk to the owners. They were very kind and seemed like great people.

Harry's Chicken Joint is one of the best places to get fried chicken! It's a small local owned place that does chicken and they do chicken right! I was told that their chicken is flash smoked then soaked in buttermilk and dredged in their own seasoned flour. The owner fried everything to order and you could see that there is a lot of pride and integrity behind every layer of flavor. It's also an opened kitchen and notices 3 giant cast iron pots all with thermometers in the oil to achieve the right amount of crunch without drying out the meat. The couple treated us like family and highly recommend going to Harry's Chicken Joint!

Chicken was cooked perfectly and in front of us. We had the pleasure of chatting with owners through our dinner and they're super nice. I can't rave enough about the chicken though. It was juicy and tender, and the coating is flavorful. I hate greasy/oily fried chicken, and this is definitely not that. The price is awesome as well, ($7 for chicken, biscuits and gravy in seattle?!). If you like chicken tenders/fried chicken, give this place a shot.

My boyfriend and I were super excited that they were finally back and open! We just moved to the area and have walked by here several times. We really wanted to try it. We've heard (and read) great things about this place. Today we decided to grab take out from here for dinner. The places is pretty small inside. Only one booth and a handful of stools at the counter where you get to watch all the chicken being fried! We ordered the Half Chicken, Chicken Tenders and biscuits. While we were waiting we talked with the owner and his wife (I think it was his wife). They are super nice and friendly. While she was getting our order ready to go he was frying everything up, and even gave us a piece of chicken to try while we were waiting for our food. Man, was this the best fried chicken we've had since moving out to Seattle! Super flavorful, great crunch and very moist chicken.

By far the best fried chicken I have ever had! The ambiance of the place is quant and friendly, with a bit of nostalgia. I recommend the Chicken Strips, as each bite sends you through the process of the chicken. First is a lightly smoked full body flavor, which transitions to the seasoned flavor of the brine and breading, followed by that great taste of fried chicken breading. Very moist and flavorful chicken. Of all the places I look forward to eating at while in town, Harry’s top the list. If only they could ship that delightful fried food too me in Florida!
