Meaty Johnson's 1201 Pine St #1931, Seattle, WA 98101 🍖🥩🍗🍽️🥤 great Lil inner city wholenin the wall neighborhood BBQ place. It does have dine in seating which are window seats. Closed off unfortunately for our fav covid 19 restrictions. Other than that, customer service was good and quick. I had my order within 10 minutes, but I got there just as they opened. The food portions price per pound for meat are on par with store bought. So, if you can't or don't want to prep ur own go there and partake w abandon. Side are delicious too, from cole slaw, kimshi pot salad and Mac n cheese add to your plate dining experience. Corn bread fresh w a Lil crumble to it just like it should be... This is going to be a fav stop on my list for when I'm craving BBQ...

So, I finally found them on delivery. I just noticed this place the other day while I was walking around... And I noticed they have Beef Brisket. It's hard to find brisket in this city, let alone good brisket. Usually, it's too dry or too tough and is just not enjoyable to eat. Meaty Johnson's on the other hand... the brisket is fall apart juicy. It has a nice, thick crust that's full of amazing flavor! I also had the cole slaw and the jalapeno corn bread. The cole slaw was good, not too tangy, not too sweet. The corn bread though! This has to be the first corn bread I have found that I actually like since like 2nd Grade. Add the hints of my best friend jalapeno and this moist bread is on fire! I will definitely be ordering from here again!

I’ve eaten here and ordered takeout multiple times. This rating is for their takeout service: Their meat tastes amazing WITH the sauce they have. However, they don’t always give enough sauce. Make sure to order double or triple the sauce you expect because they can skimp. If your order and don’t specify any sauce with the order they will give you meat without sauce which is sad. Make sure to specify the sauce you want because the sauce makes the meat taste amazing!

Great food, fast service, limited seating. We walked up here from downtown to grab some BBQ to go for lunch - if you plan on eating in, there is very limited seating. But no worries, even after a 10 min walk back to the office, the bun on my sandwich was still toasty and the meat tender and delicious - likely a result of allowing you to sauce the BBQ yourself. Sides were perfectly sized to complement. The Pulled pork was delicious. Coworkers got the beef brisket and also enjoyed it immensely. The medium sauce is perfect - just a noticeable kick to a semi-sweet flavor.

To start off, this place is amazing. I was draw in by their name. I thought it was quite witty. Upon entering, I was greeted with friendly service. Once I received my food, the experience got even better. The ribs were so juicy and flavorful. The meat just fell right off of the bone and the sauces made it that much better. One recommendation is that you go early in the day. The reason being is the company only has a limited supply of fresh meat so my first option was not available. With that being said, I’d rather have fresh than something prepared several days ago. I would highly recommend Meaty Johnson’s.

This place needs more love! Definitely my favorite barbecue in Seattle. Quality is always consistent, the staff are friendly as well! The ribs have a nice bite and are super juicy at the same time.brisket is super moist. Both stand up on their own without the sauces. Pulled pork is really good too. Love the slaw and the cornbread as well. The jalapeno gives the cornbread a unique twist. Worth a short bus trip from downtown for lunch!

I went to Meaty Johnson's last week for the very first time after receiving a recommendation from a co-worker. I then ordered a quarter-slab of ribs and a brisket sandwich. The ribs were tender, juicy and flavorful and the brisket was the same if not better. I even ordered some jalapeno cornbread on the side and it had just the right amount of spicy kick. The staff were also tremendously friendly and personable. I will definitely be going back!!!
