Outstanding fitting with Todd. Super detailed fit. We reviewed multiple bike options based on best fit and desired riding. Todd took the time to explain the various bike options. I bought a bike that I am totally excited about. If you are looking for a comprehensive bike fit and understanding of what bike frame will work best for you and riding style see Todd. Plus the environment in the store is so welcoming. No intimidation, no egos just a group of people really happy to help a fellow cyclist end up with a great bike by providing a great experience. I had a Retul bike fit at Métier and then purchased a new bike through Métier. The entire experience from my initial bike fit through picking up my new bike was better than I could ever had imagined. Todd explained every step during the Retul bike fit and continuously asked for feedback as he made adjustments to my bike setup. Todd and his staff were in touch throughout the bike build and were very supportive at my bike pick up and final fit. My new bike is very comfortable to ride and performs beautifully. A perfect bike for my cycling capabilities and goals. My entire experience could not have been better.

I first came to Metier because I needed a charger for an older Di2 shifting bike that no other shop in the area had in stock. After purchasing the charger I brought my bike back a few weeks later for a tune-up. My bike now rides so much better thanks to the knowledgeable staff helping me make all the necessary adjustments and replacing all worn parts to make my bike feel new again.

Metier delivers on everything you’d expect from a high end bike shop - top of the line products, in a beautiful and unique space, complete with cafe and training area. What truly sets it apart is the wealth of knowledge, attention to customer service, and welcoming, zero condescension attitude Todd and the whole team bring. Buying a bike (and getting a fitting - highly recommend!) from Metier was the most enjoyable sales experience I’ve encountered - they’ve earned my loyalty and trust. Cannot recommend enough.

I purchased a used wheel that had very specific tubeless tape and valve requirements. The vendor cost with shipping would have been $65. I called around to bike stores in seattle and no one had the items in stock. I called metier and their mechanic had a half roll to sell me for a very reasonable price. This is a sort of bike shop service that I thought had disappeared 20 years ago, well done. My wife and I walked through the store and it’s like a museum of the latest and most incredible bicycles, not in our price range but still the paint and craft are a wonder to behold. Thanks for making an effort Metier!

I love this place! Such a neat concept! Very spacious and comfortable place, located in the heart of Capital Hill. It has indoor and outdoor seating so you can work while enjoying a cup of coffee. Excellent customer service and very flexible with working around your diet! I didn't shop at the bike section but it looks like a lot of options on bike gears. This is so far my favorite neighborhood café stop!

I went to Metier to get a bike fit. It was my first time in the shop, and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is great, and the sales staff are super nice. Their inventory skews towards specialty race/performance gear; things you can’t find at Greg’s Cycles, for example. I’ll definitely be going back to pick up some goodies in the future. The bikes fit itself went great. Todd really knows what he’s doing. We chatted a bit at first and then he was really focused once it was time to make the fitting adjustments. The end result was a bike and cleat setup that is way more comfortable and powerful. I would highly recommend it.

After riding a cannondale r1000 for many years, parts finally started to wear out. I like nice bikes and metier is the place to satisfy! I biked in around 4pm on Saturday and was shown the Cinelli below. Thinking about it overnight, I decided to do the Sunday 930am club ride. Shop opened at 9am promptly and by 930, I was off on a test drive. The service excellent, fast and very knowledgeable! Oh, the coffee was great too, lol. Thanks for the comfortable and awesome bike!
