The best pho I’ve ever had!! The portion is huge, too! Great price for it. The fried calamari is also delicious and the staff are kind and friendly. So glad we have a nice Vietnamese restaurant in Des Moines!

Good atmosphere, really tasty food, good beers on tap. They have an area for dining and a separate bar. They have a nice outdoor dining section with a view of the water. Reasonable prices.

It's a nice place. Friendly staff. They have a nice menu with a good amount of selection. I would come back and try their rice plates or vermicelli bowl. I had pho because of a craving. It was ok.

The food is delicious but the meat in both dishes was not enough. I had chicken phone and it had less than 1/3 of the chicken other restaurants serve. Everything else was outstanding. The jalapeno slices were the hottest I've ever tasted.

Great new place in Des Moines. Really nice and clean restaurant with a big menu. We got the lemongrass chicken and ginger beef and they were both delicious. We will definitely be back.

This is a new place in town. It focuses on Vietnamese food without straying too far into adjacent Asian cuisines.
The decor is lovely and there is a lot of window seating and outdoor deck seating. We ate an early dinner, which is why the dining room is empty.
We ordered staples: beef brisket pho, a pork banh mi, shrimp fresh rolls, and bubble tea.
The ingredients were good quality. The bread on my sandwich was particularly good, a flaky baguette. All vegetables were fresh, including the traditional fixings for the soup. The soup had a generous portion of meat, cut well. Our bubble teas were as expected, honeydew and lychee flavors with tapioca bubbles.
Everything was tasty and made well, and I felt the prices were reasonable.
We'll definitely go again.
Update:
We visited a second time. This time I got house special pho. It was prepared well, and again the ingredients were high quality.

We tried Origin's for lunch today. It was great! The pho was very tasty. The staff was friendly and efficient. The line was short. Usually places like that have lots of people and the pho queue is much worse. This pho queue wasn't bad at all. It was a very nice experience.
