Airways Brewing Company

Beware the gate to the rear parking lot locks before the brewery closes! The gate on the far west end of the lot was still open at 7, but there are no signs indicating the gate closes during business hours and how to get out once it does. The brewery itself is great, but the property manager is subpar.

Airways is the best brewery south of Georgetown (and I mean all the way to PDX)! Their regular line up is finely crafted (Jumbo Juice hazy IPA, Skyhag NW DIPA, New Shepard Pale Ale--which is now a hazy pale) and they always have new beers on tap too, often German style ones, and often a NE style IPA. There are snacks and the taproom space is large, Industrial modern, with outdoor seating in the back which is superb on warm days! (｡•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧

the pre-flight pilsner is an exceptional example of the style. the other beers we tried were well above average (the ESB, a hazy IPA, and a porter). Hannah was the bartender on duty and she was very friendly and her beer suggestions were top notch. she offered to open the patio for us (we were one of the first to arrive as they opened) and she was very attentive, checking on us and others periodically. another group showed up and forgot a leash for their pup and Hannah was able to find one! where else do you get that kind of service?? the beer was good and cold, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, we'll be back for sure.

Great little tap room bistro. Not familiar with the area and it was a little hard for us to find. It isn't a fancy big brewery that stands out from the street but it sure stands out in great beers. The Mr liked the Amber and the ESB..... I liked the Elemental Lemoncello guest tap cider. Great friendly knowledgeable service at the bar. We also had some pretzels - I think they were a happy hour special - 2 big pretzels - soft and hot - with mustard and cheese - for $9. Tummy and taste buds were happy here!
