I’m always looking for unique ice cream, and this is the place. The ice cream and cones are dairy free and gluten free and you’d never know it. I had the California Cabin, and the smoked pine was the perfect touch to cardamom cookies and vanilla. I love supporting small, local, woman owned, and delicious. And this checked all those boxes. Will be going again soon.

So impressed by this shop! I love Frankie and Jo’s ice creams. You would never know it’s vegan/gluten free and I love the ability to build a sundae. It’s a little expensive but it’s worth it.

Really great stop for ice cream! I highly recommend you be bold and try California Cabin. It sounds weird (black pepper? cardamom? pine ice cream? what is this?!), but will knock your socks off. I took off one star because of the price, it's hard to justify $8 for a relatively small scoop of (admittedly great) ice cream when there are so many other yummy options out there. The coconut taste of the base is also quite overpowering in some of the flavors (like the chocolate). That said, still worth a visit!

The vegan ice cream is really. Don't worry about ingredients like eggplant. It all tastes good and usually like normal ice cream. The place is popular so is crowded and could use more seating.

With tax and a tip, it was pushing $8 for a small cup of ice cream. Everything in Seattle is expensive, so maybe this is just par for the course, but it felt a bit much. As for the non-dairy ice cream, it was good. I honestly might not have even noticed it didn't have any dairy if they hadn't said anything. It was a bit too sweet for my taste, but not totally overboard. The texture and flavor were generally good. Staff were very friendly and offered samples before we chose.

The Sundae Shop has arrived!!! As a long-time fan of Frankie & Jo’s and life-long fan of soft serve, I was absolutely THRILLED when I heard they were adding this to their roster of already delicious vegan ice cream! I was hoping that the sundaes wouldn’t be coconut based like a lot of their ice creams and sure enough, I was delighted to find it wasn’t! There were a gazillion delicious and creative toppings to add on like lemon thyme blondies, zucchini pound cake, and cone shatter or you can go with one of their sundae options! I went with the Pickled Blueberry Sundae which came with their pickled blueberry jam, lemon thyme blondies and added one additional topping. With a 15% tip this ended up being $18 for a small sundae BUT you can truly taste the quality! The mixed flavors reminded me of a European waterside with a cute blanket, a book, a glass of something sparkly and my ice cream! I know it’s expensive, but summer is meant for treating yourself with dessert that is worth every penny 🍦✨

The best ice cream in Seattle. And it’s vegan. The seasonal flavors rarely disappoint.

Edit - This is the best icecream in Seattle. I have stopped eating icecream from anywhere else. There is no competition at all to the point that it seems unfair lol. I no longer buy scoops. Straight to pints. A cozy place in a cozy neighborhood. Caramel cardamom and jamocha chaga fudge were great. Never thought vegan icecream can taste this good.

Never would have believed this was vegan ice cream. Tasted just like regular ice cream. Base was coconut milk and delicious. Monthly flavors. The Carrot cake was so good!!! Definitely will come here again.
