Sweet And Fresh Bakery

One of the last OG original bakeries in the international district - definition of classic Cantonese cakes and buns, it feels like you’re back in the best part of 90s nostalgia when you walk in and smell the sweet smell of cream!! Makes me so sad to think they don’t get enough traffic as places like yummy house when they have even better baked goods that aren’t gimmicky or too sweet. My mom used to take me here every single time I saw the doctor at ICHS next door and we still buy their fresh fruit sponge cake for every family birthday. It’s a true mom and pop shop that treats you like family. I haven’t been here in about 5 years and the auntie still recognizes me! I bought three buns today for less than 5$ - franchised places like 85Cs oily selection can’t even compare.
