Starbucks

I do love those iced white mochas. There must have been a Starbucks memo put out that employees "must engage in conversation with customer at drive through." I'm getting coffee to try and wake up and you're asking me about my weekend plans or what I'm doing today. I don't know. What day is it? What time is it? Where am I? I'm just trying to get coffee man, the forced conversation at every Starbucks is getting weird. My family isn't even interested in my plans this weekend or what I'm doing today.

I hadn’t been into this location in quite a while. The interior has been converted to a “pick up” location. There is no longer seating or tables inside. (Minus one star). The drive thru is still operating, there is usually always a long line. They also put in a walk-up exterior window to order. Friendly staff.

A drive thru Starbuck's that's less than a minute from my house with an easy pay app that let's me earn merch and/or free coffee, what's not to like?!! If I'm feeling anti-social, I can use their app, pre-order and say four words, including thanks, then be back home in under five minutes. Despite being one of the busiest drive thru locations in Washington, the baristas remember regulars, are personable and always have a fun saying on the tip boxes-this store and Interbay are the two Starbuck's I'll consistently tip at because these employees hustle! I've seen both stores clear huge lines in a matter of minutes. Sure, I've one or two snarky encounters, meh coffee or a wrong order, but a quick call to customer service resolved everything. So...until another super duper close coffee shop with a drive thru opens, I'm headed to Starbuck's on Aurora.
