First time in, we had the Nordic board, Venison Smørbrod, and Ballard dogs for the kids. All the food was fresh, well prepared, delicious. They were accommodating for our kids, including setting certain ingredients aside, and staff were very knowledgeable and helpful with both food and drink recommendations. Highly recommend, and we look forward to coming back again.

I was a little disappointed that the chicken wings had left the menu. **Edit** definitely have to check the menu before heading over next time since this changes periodically** Otherwise though, their skewers are still really good. I chose the Venison and Salmon skewers with a side of the asparagus and was very happy with them. The bar area is cozy and the staff are friendly.

We had such a memorable meal here!! My friends and I have Northern European roots, so we were super excited to check this place out on a recent trip to Seattle. The skewer platter was unbelievable, don’t miss out on the farmer’s cheese and the duck hearts! The vibe was so relaxed and welcoming. The service was superb. Wish I lived closer and could take advantage of the membership deal!! Huge thanks to Cody who went above and beyond when I left my postcards at the bar by mistake! Can’t wait to return soon. Great food and drinks as well as atmosphere and service. The cocktail I chose was the Knotty Viking made with caraway aquavit. It was delicious - great flavors, perfect amount of everything and the honeydew really completes it. My friends even ordered one for themselves after trying mine. For food I ordered a salmon skewer and asparagus. We planned on hopping around Ballard so I just got some starters, but they were very nicely done and quite satiating! I love salmon for a quick healthy protein and they cooked it just right, not dry at all and it comes with a lemon wedge. The asparagus were meaty and tender too, just the right amount of salt & pepper. Friendly attentive staff, atmosphere was nice, food timing was perfect and pricing was on point.

First I must say… wow! With amble indoor and outdoor seating you won’t have to worry not having a view as every inch of this treasure is dripping in aesthetic. The details in the atmosphere alone is worth a visit. The staff is not only pleasant, they are absolutely on it. Especially the chefs! *insert chefs kiss here* Food is truly the star of the show. My burger had a true conversation of flavor in every bite. The duck hearts will be on my always order list, I just can’t recommend them enough. A burst flavor that mellows into a fresh spring song can easily describe the cocktail I had. Thank you so incredibly much for this experience, I’ll be returning and making it a regular recommendation for a date night spot.

The food is awesome! I especially like their skewers and cauliflower bites! They have Jarl's Platter which is all skewers. Duck heart and farmer’s cheese with Apple sauce are amazingly good! They have variety of cocktails. We tried different ones, all are tasty 👍 For the wings, we choose Korean buffalo sauce. Very spicy but tastes good!

Been here twice and SKÅL is just good! The food is amazing and drinks are great. My personal favorite food is: cheese skewer, Duck heart skewer, curries cauliflower bites. For drinks, I highly recommend Pear of Idunn (honey ish taste), Sky river meadery (berry ish wine taste) and Elevenese Blueberry lemonade (fruity and not too sweet). Highly recommend this restaurant and I enjoy a lot!

Had a great time eating delicious food and drinks. I love the Viking theme all throughout the entire place, sets a great vibe and crates an old world tavern atmosphere you really enjoy. We received amazing customer service from friendly staff and our server was great! They’re family friendly and have available board games to play while you dine. We definitely will return and recommend it to our family & friends. Thank you for the amazing service and overall experience.
