My go-to local coffee shop! The waffles are tasty and the savory scone sandwiches are top notch.

The second time I have stopped into this delightful place. The breakfast sandwich is unusual and delicious. Lentil soup seasoned perfectly and delicious. Had a lovely chat with the owner (?) about Lebanese & US farms. I will go out of my way to stop in again.

Super cute cafe with friendly staff, great coffee, and tasty pastries. I got the energy bar because we had lunch plans elsewhere after, but I will definitely be coming back to try something else.

So happy with this experience... Everything about it was perfect. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the food? Amazing. We had the cheddar chive breakfast sandwich and half a Nutella waffle and I can't say enough about how good they were. Highly recommend!!

The sandwich was really good, only problem was that the scone bread was really, really dense. It tasted fantastic though. The service was quick and friendly and I liked the interior. Interesting artwork and the hand-written menu was really fun.

Loved it! Casual atmosphere, very friendly and SUPER helpful staff, and great food. I asked a few questions about ingredients (manakeesh, labdeh) before ordering, and the person behind the counter (owner?) told me all about them, and let me know that I could order a side of the labneh (a type of tart cheese) to go with my sandwich. Our group ordered a savory waffle, sweet waffle, breakfast biscuit sandwich (egg & cheese), and the manakeesh sandwich (with labneh on the side). All were excellent. Our favorite was the egg sandwich - the biscuit was especially tasty! Fast service. Highly recommended.

Salt and Sugar Cafe has amazing breakfast sandwiches and their coffee blends are delicious as well. It’s conveniently located next to a few bus stops as well! So, if you’re looking for a quick delicious meal in Ballard, try this place out!
