Eltana Wood Fired Bagels

The best bagels. My favorite is the everything bagel - on it's own or with any of their spreads (I've even tried it with peanut butter at home!). All of the bagels are amazing, as are the spreads. My favorite sweet spread is walnut date, but again, they are all amazing. Lately I've been trying different items for lunch. The lox plate, the smoked trout, the breakfast sandwich, the chicken schwarma, and today - the shakshuka... the eggs were perfectly poached, the tomatoes and vegetables cooked to perfection and so, so flavorful. Nice to have healthy, but filling lunch options. Excited to try out more of the menu! I love coming here for lunch because while everything is made fresh-to-order, they bring it out quick. So it's a great spot for a quick lunch, but also the space is gorgeous and a great place to enjoy a slow lunch when time allows.

I've seen a lot of mixed reviews on Eltana at their various locations - I have to say that the bagels are good, but they are small - and don't really taste like anything other than just normal fresh bagels. The spreads are what really sweeten the deal, as they are both generous with the amount you get and the flavors are amazing. I know people that go there just to buy the spread (which you can do, to bring home!). Top tip - go here on a Saturday and grab a bagel and a latte, and do their crossword puzzle while you hang out. Also; if you know someone who works there, take advantage of their Feed A Friend deal - you can get up to 15 bucks of free food daily!
