Bait Shop

Came here before we went to go see a comedian perform. The staff were excellent and the food was great! If I come again I would definitely op for fries as a side. The vibes were really good and the Bait Shop had a very friendly atmosphere! We got a Fried Chicken Sandwich and Fish and Chips and both were amazing, the fish and chips are not British style for those who care about that.

I called the Bait Shop because I have allergies to shellfish and soy and the staff were very helpful on the phone checking with the kitchen, soy and shellfish free! When we arrived we were seated quickly our server was so kind, I cannot rave enough about their excellent costumer service. Our food came quite quickly and was absolutely delicious, my fish and chip basket had a few chips that were too crunchy to eat but that won’t deter us from visiting again. Thanks Bait Shop for the great vibe, food, and service.

take out fish and chips plus a side of chicken. fish and chicken traveled well (to volunteer park, so not that far) not so much the fries (it’s difficult, i know! especially with this style of fry). i like a beer batter so i liked the fish, the chicken too. 4.5 for the fish, 4 for the chicken, meh for the fries. i’m ok with the portions and i’m a big eater.

This was me and my boyfriend’s first time trying any seafood in the area as we just moved to Seattle from the East Coast! We’ve really enjoyed all of the different kinds of food we’ve be able to explore here thus far…until we tried Bait Shop. We ordered through UberEats and got the Fish & Chips with a couple of sauces/condiments on the side and everything arrived on time. First impressions of the food was that it looked absolutely amazing! It came with two pieces of fried fish, fries and a lemon on the side. So we dug in right away! I tried the fries first, as I always do, and the fries were cooked and salted perfectly! Next was the fish. I bit in and the crisp/crunch on the outside was really great but what followed was nothing. I didn’t taste much of anything but the breading and the texture of the fish itself. It was unseasoned and didn’t taste fresh at all. With all of the great reviews we saw, we thought it would be the perfect dinner to end our Friday night but unfortunately it wasn’t ):

Food was good but some of the workers were disrespectful. Wings were not too good and I semi enjoyed them but I specifically asked for extra carrots and celery and paid extra for them but ended up getting the smallest order of them. Got about 2 small slices of a carrot and 3 pieces of celery. Also paid for extra sauce to end up getting only 2 extra which was frustrating. Other than that, Most was alright. They bragged how big their wings were but Buffalo Wild Wings definitely has better wings.
