Southside Pizza

I woke up yesterday morning to a flyer placed on my door handle. I knew right away something was wrong. I live in a gated private property a few blocks away from this establishment. The only way to get to my door is by ringing the buzzer at the front entrance and be let in, having a code or forced entry. By forced entry I mean it’s an electric fence with machinery involved that keeps the gate closed, open or working at all. There was no buzz and I was the only one home. I woke up to my dogs barking and rattled so I assumed they needed to be let out. That’s when I saw the flyer. I called my dogs inside and reached for the phone when I saw my husband whom is currently out of state had been blowing up my phone. A few months ago I walked into this establishment with my mother and the guy at the front forgot to place her order and she had to sit there and watch me eat on a Parmesan covered table. To many people standing around and no tables had been cleaned. I had the most awkward and most rudest customer service while being there. Now I’m not the type to be cheap but the lack of character in having my mother pay for her meal in full After half an hr of me finishing my food was incredibly disappointing. I walk by this restaurant atleast twice a day after opening hours and it is never clean in there. The pizza was good when I was there the one time. However I have given up on trying to walk in and find a clean table. Now back to my house. I look at my phone and see calls and text messages of someone breaking into my property setting off all sensors and cameras in my house and my husband is freaking out while out of state because he’s witnessing someone shove their way through my gate. This person forced their way into my property not looking for a ringer or any respect whatsoever for my property. They did the exact same thing leaving the property. My gate won’t open and my tenants are having to jump in and out of our property and one has his car stuck in the driveway because you’re business is doing so bad you have to break into peoples property just to give them a discount coupon at the door?! It’s private property, if there’s a locked gate, fence, wall, hedge, or building door.... You respect the property and not just break into it! This is gonna have to go to small claims, That is couple thousand dollars there that coupon was worth! There are cameras pointing out to the driveway that caught the whole thing.

Great customer service and prices. Unique menu, I recommend The porker! Amazing favor. And the gelato is delicious! After a horrible experience at proletariat pizza, we walked out and headed straight for south side. And boy we’re we happy with that decision! And can’t wait to go back and try more! Thank you Southside Pizza, for a delicious dinner!

I think Southside is an up and coming pizza spot that will be a premier spot in Seattle. I really love how they prep the crust. The cheese to sauce ratio is great, but could use some perfecting. However, if you want someone who is always up to making their craft better, you'll find that in the new manager here. He just moved up from Hawaii and is always pushing the envelope on blending different flavors. Behind Rocco's, this is my favorite Seattle pizza shop!

We’ve ordered from Southside pizza multiple times and it always tastes delicious. Unfortunately the last 3 pizzas we’ve ordered have had hair in them. Not a pleasant experience at all to bite down through hair and I made sure to mention it the second time it happened. Now I’m just disappointed and will not be ordering from here again.

We had probably the best pizza we've ever had, just a 14" Supreme (which is a lot of pizza) but it was amazingly good, even the crust was unusually good (sorry dogs, who were sitting with us at Beer Star where we ordered the pizza. But they still got some. :) They were actually closing up when we got there but the person at the till was nice enough to make us a pizza anyway, so basically we got an amazing pizza served with kindness - much appreciated!

I really enjoy their pizza. Their plain cheese is great, as is their pepperoni. Service has been good the past couple times I've been there. The guy that works the register is nice and works hard at customer service. Their crust is very tasty and seems like maybe it contains a lot of olive oil - everyone in the family loves it and it's the only pizza where the crust actually gets eaten. The prices are mostly comparable to other local pizza shops. I think their house salad is a little overpriced, and it would be nice if they had a happy hour for a plain large cheese pizza similar to the other pizza shop a half a block away.
