Alberona's Pizza And Pasta

We ordered just a „Cesar salad“ and garlic Bread at 11:30 pm. Delivery time was 2 hours - this is just unacceptable! The quality of the food was the worst I’ve ever seen! The bread was not warm at all, it wasn’t crusty and it wasn’t even tasting like garlic. It was just white bread. The Cesar salad was definitely not a Cesar salad! Have you guys ever been to Italy? Have you ever eaten an real Cesar salad? This was just absolutely ridiculous!! The driver was really grumpy cause we don’t have any tips at all. But waiting for 2 hours for an bit of bread and a „salad“ is just too much. We came from a flight and just wanted to eat something quick before going to sleep. We paid in total 31$ just for nothing. I would not recommend ordering here at any time anything.

First when searching for pizza in door dash the name of the business says Pizza Ragazzi, but Google says this address 3624 Leary Way Northwest is the business of Alberona's Da Vinci Pizza & Pasta so I'm not sure where to say I got my pizza from. However growing up in Harlem New York and living in Chicago its easy to judge pizza because I have lived in major cities that have excellent pizza. My Alverona's or Ragazzi pizza's crust was sponge like when I bit into it and pulled it away. My mozzarella sticks were under cooked, but the chicken alfredo was delicious.

I gotta say you can't always tell if it's going to taste the same way it smells. I'm a delivery driver and months ago I had a pick up from Alberona's Da Vinci Pizza & Pasta and while delivering it filled my car with the most pleasant smell. I told myself I need to try it out some time. Tonight was the night. I ordered a sausage, pepperoni, onion, tomato, and green onion. It smelled great driving home and when I sat down and took a bite it was better than I could imagine. Great pizza I'll definitely be back!

Alberonas is a neighborhood diamond in the rough. The Owner heads the operation and the staff here are generally rather friendly. In giving and doing it's part to help the community, they will often feed free meals to the homeless, the hungry and less fortunate alike. It is also one of the few places one can find hot food at 3:00 am any day of the week ! This fact alone keeps me coming back, not to mention the cast of characters they employ here includes some foreigners and friends and fisherman ( retired ) as part time dish washers, and I like that a lot. I give them 5 stars for having heart and for kindness. Cheers
