Lovely food, good service and really cheap

This restaurant is one of our favourite places to eat. The food is excellent & so is the friendly service.
You can bring your own wine which keeps costs down & suits us fine.
There are plenty of dishes to choose from & the portions are good, so we always end up taking some home.
We have been to a lot of Indian restaurants over the years but this is particularly good & very convenient for us to reach.
I would highly recommend.

Had a take away from here tonight and it was amazing! Delicious food and prompt delivery. Not at all greasy like we've had from other restaurants. Portion sizes where large and it was very good value. Will definitely be ordering again soon. Thank you so much xx

We've been several times. The food is always good but last night it was exceptional. Great value and with BYOB and no corkage it's a steal. The fish dishes are amazing.

We had takeaway and really enjoyed it. We'll balanced spices. For price it was reasonable value. When we collected really liked the decor etc, so we will be making a visit in person. Especially impressed by the implacable manners of the gentleman who served us.

Called in on Saturday evening with my partner and another couple, restaurant was about half full, we had a table booked just in case. Was greeted with the warmest of welcomes, really friendly staff.
Food was delicious, I had a onion bahji starter and a fish tikka main with rice with a garlic naan.
It's bring your own beer or wine which I dont mind.
Prices are more what you'd pay for takeaway and to be honest I would say a bit on the cheap side, I think they're underselling themselves.
Highly recommended.

Lovely pickle trays… nice traditional curries… and I would recommend the Meat Shaslick… it’s lovely! Great spot in Ranmoor and a reliable place to nip for a filling curry after a few pints at the local! Pretty quick service and can generally rock up a little late and get a table. Bring your own booze which makes it a really good value dinner.

Came here with the family for a Christmas Eve curry. It was really enjoyable in every way. Staff were great and they took time and trouble over our order. The waiters gave us advice on our food choices and ensured that we had the right choice of dishes which complimented each other. Service was efficient and altogether the whole experience was a complete pleasure. It all set us up nicely for the Christmas festivities. I would highly recommend this restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit ! Update 24.12.22-nice meal!

I have been going to Ranmoor Tandoori for over 20 years. Sadly I no longer live in the area but every year we have a large family get together with old neighbours and visit. They have never forgotten us, treat us like family, food is always amazing and the service is excellent. this is definitely an institution within the area and a must visit!!

Yet another lovely evening on 17-Dec, with great food and company. I have known the proprietor Abdul for 30 years and he is always amazingly polite and hospitable.
Last visit on 19-Nov. Looking forward to a meal in the New Year.
