You know what, you can keep your "Costas" and your "Starbucks". Coffee shops like this one have more character and better food. Does Starbucks do croissants with fish fingers and cheese? Have Costa knocked through to the old bank next door and put a tree and a bar in there? No, they haven't. Not only is the food great, but it's well priced. Croissant and a hot drink for just over £3. I'll have some of that.

They do unusual croissants with things like fish fingers which I didn't expect. I had one and it was pretty good. I'm not a big coffee shop person but this place had quick service and was fine with a medium sized group. Prices maybe a touch heavy but was nice enough overall for something a bit different. Would go back if in the area.

Fantastic service, nice coffee but average pain au chocolat. It was my first time visiting this coffee shop and it’s been on my list for a long time. This coffee shop is located in the Broomhill area of Sheffield, near the Morrison’s supermarket. It opens from 8am-6pm usually. The cafe is pretty small overall and with COVID measures in place there was arguably less seating available which makes complete sense. The staff that served me was very friendly and seemed to love his job, I’m thinking he was the manager? He took care of my order and sat me and friends down at a table. I ordered the pain au chocolat and the salted caramel brownie with an iced mocha. They offer student discount, my total came to £8.90. The brownie was tasty and soft, the pain au chocolat wasn’t as tasty and was more on the tougher side to munch on and the iced mocha tasted great. Overall, fantastic service and good coffee but the pain au chocolat just didn’t taste good on the day I visited unfortunately! However, I’d still recommend this café for a nice coffee and chill.
