Wow !! This place is huge... I came here just before opening and was amazed at the size of this venue... Huge amount of indoor and outside seating with multitudes of screens showing the latest sports depending on your taste in sports they can show multiple different events at the same time (just ask at the bar and tell them where your sitting) Tastefully decorated with comfy seating and exceptionally clean throughout with no attention to detail missed. 3 pool tables and the biggest outdoor screen I've ever seen at a pub.. outside bar is open during the summer and sporting events. Beers from £2.95 and spirits from £1.99 5 minute walk from the university campas this is the ideal meet and greet hub. Champs is a stunning venue serving food from 12 midday till 9 Friendly staff and comfy surroundings, a real treat on them hot summer days to come. 😎

Stopped for some lunch with the family while we were in the area. Great for me as Soccer Saturday was on, not great for my wife who wanted the vegan burger but they didn't have any left. Food selection could be bigger, but it's a sports bar, not a restaurant. I don't know why I'm even bringing it up. Anyway - 1 star off for the lack of snap for the Mrs, staff were nice though.

Me and a friend arrived for a drink early on a friday, Rob was very accommodating he gave us a lesson in fruity gins and then showed us a table outside before bringing us our gins! The golf was on a huge screen in the beer garden! And then we enjoyed the music and atmosphere. Very much recommend the bar.

A really good sports bar. Loads of good quality displays in every direction - even outside as long as it not raining! Even a set of displays across the back of try he bar so you don't miss a play when getting a round in. That was quite useful this morning as there was a big crowd for the Rugby World Cup final and long queues at the bar. A couple more staff today would have aced a five star but would totally recommend to watch sports and enjoy a bevvie or two.
