Visited for the first time to watch a fantastic band, Highway Child, on a Sunday tea time. Lee, the Landlord, was very welcoming, great service from the bar staff, not sure if they serve food?
Off road parking to the rear. Wouldn't hesitate to go back 👍

We were made to feel really welcome by the new managers Katie and Lee. Nice range of draught beers and other drinks to suit with friendly bar staff. The pub does not provide meals on site - I don't think it ever has? It's an old style pub with a warm atmosphere. Sky sports is available in all main rooms aswell as a large screen for those big matches. We had no problem chatting with the locals, they were great friendly people.
There was a Singer on the Friday night that we were and she was knocking out Soul classics which were just amazing. The Carpark is best approached from Laverack St. and the entrance is dead opposite. It's ample but not massive. We arrived at 8pm and it was only half full. I think most people walk or taxi there tbh. Great venue, looking forward to returning soon 👍🏻👍🏻
