True Loves

True Loves is a rare place. It’s captures both a warmth and a friendliness that is hard to find in a local bar these days. At the same time, as an independent, it manages to maintain an air of class and style that sets it apart from other options. Whether it’s the food, which is clearly freshly made with good produce or the drinks selection which is curated, True Loves is a sure fire winner for a decent night out. The bar manager Goodlad will take you under his wing offering you enthusiastic advice about the food and drink and perhaps, if you are lucky, offer you a hilarious tale or two. The perfect local bar doesn’t exist, but if it did, True Loves would be it.

What True Love’s lacks in size it makes up for in insane food, atmosphere and dedication to you having a good time. After going here consistently for over a year I can ensure you it is not a fluke. From their amazing pizza to their unbelievable loaded fries and signature specials it does not skimp quality. If you want to feel safe and welcome then this is the place to go, if I could rate it 10 stars I easily would

Absolutely love this place, such a little gem on the quays. Inside is wheelchair accessible with a lift. Toilets were clean and modern, as well as the restaurant being decorated nicely. The food was absolutely amazing, and decently priced for the quality you get. Small range of drinks however most bases are covered: lager, cider, cocktails and wine. They have outdoor seating which is lovely in the summer months. To finish off our meal we had their charcoal cheese which convinced us to return multiple times and even buy some for home. 100% recommend for a relaxed meal in Sheffield. Parking close to restaurant also.

Had a great evening with friends, charcuterie and flights of wine. The selection of cheeses were varied and plentiful. For £33 the largest board served 3 of us easily with pork pie, breads, meats, fruits, and plenty of other nibbles. Great to know the produce was local & was served by knowledgeable, friendly staff. Luke was particularly attentive and gave his thoughts and recommendations to us which was much appreciated!! The selection of wine was also very nice - the flights let you try three different varieties that compliment each other and are served with notes. And the cocktails were also great. Definitely recommended for a nice evening by the Quay.

Lovely place and people. Fit us in without booking, and did our order quickly as we were in a hurry. Lots of nice touches, with decor and food. The blue fries were fantastic, pizza authentic (no garlic as it should be). Wish we'd had time to come again to try more, Eg the pork pie and flights of wine! We will be back.
