Rudy's Pizza Napoletana - Sheffield

Been here a couple of times and both times the food is great! This time we had burrata, and then the triple pepperoni pizza (special) and porchetta pizza. Pictured. Staff are also very friendly and helpful. I would give 4.5 stars but that's not an option and the only reasons it is not 5 star is because we ordered a soda and it came in a tiny glass (same as the water glasses) and it cost £2 and we were a table of six and we were put on a table that would comfortably fit 4 so it was a bit cramped when the pizzas arrived.

The place has a shabby/artisan aesthetic and the pizzas taste authentic. Good for large groups as service of the fresh-cooked pizzas is quick. If what you want is pizza then they do it well - but if you were after calzone or a pasta dish you're out of luck as they don't do them. The staff are great and seem genuinely enthusiastic.

I was raised in Italy, so my standards are pretty high. I am often disappointed by “Italian Pizzas” in the UK (Pizza express I’m looking at you), but my Goodness, with Rudy’s I felt at home. From the Stone-Oven smell, to the amazing prices, to the delicious pizza and kind stuff. Rudy’s Sheffield is Italy. I have finally found real Italian pizza in Sheffield. Would recommend to everyone, also, very cheap (£10,90 for a pepperoni pizza is a great price)

On a short trip to Sheffield I thought I should track Rudy's down. It had come highly recommended. I now understand why. Arriving for lunch the restaurant was starting to fill up. That said I was given a friendly welcome and choice of any table. Sitting in the window was just right for people watching. I didn't opt for a starter heading straight to the main show, that being the renowned pizza. I chose a Carni (meats) made up of three salame including wild boar and of course chilles. Also a Caprice salad to accompany. All washed down by a lovely cold Italian beer. It was quick to arrive and to say I was satisfied would be an understatement. Great dough, burning on crust, thin and most of all delicious. The salad being much the same fresh, juicy and a perfect addition. It's sometime difficult to perfect such iconic dishes, but Rudy's have done just that. Traditional ingredients, traditional cooking. Amazing. Staff also friendly and attentive. Finished with an affogato which was the final topping to a wonderful lunch. Would highly recommend...don't pass it by.

We were in Sheffield to visit our nephew, who had recently starred, studied at Sheffield Hallam. At just after 5, Rudy's was already buzzing. We quickly made our choices - all fantastic! A simple bit nice touch that you can cut your pizza at the table. Thoroughly reccomended. Price very good value for money

Staff were really nice and efficient. We only had a limited time on the parking and even though it was busy we were eating quickly. The beauty of the cooking time.of pizzas I guess! Anyway, they tasted really good. They even let us take our dog in. They can open the windows over most of the frontage so it was also really well ventilated otherwise it would have been hot in there!
