Lenny's Sub Shop

Overall the food is decent, but the wait staff constantly seemed rushed and were not very polite. The business itself is simply a blatant ripoff of Jersey Mike's Subs, even including the "Lenny's Way" (the same idea as "Mike's Way" at Jersey Mike's) oil and vinegar addition to their sandwiches. It was alright, and slightly cheaper but with less meat on the sandwich. I'd recommend just traveling the extra 5-10 minutes to go to Jersey Mike's up the highway.

Way better than Subway. This place fills up your sandwich with meat based on weight. Certain sizes get a set amount of meat. Not 4 pieces for a footlong. They slice it right in front of you like a deli. Every Lenny's I have been in is very clean. The staff is very nice and friendly as well. I always choose this spot when I want a sandwich.

I haven't been to a Lenny's in years and I was craving a Philly cheesesteak, which I'll usually go to Pappa Geno's if I'm in that area, but they're way down off Westheimer and Westheimer during certain times of the day is simply a nightmare, so I decided to stop in. The young girl at the counter was extremely friendly, I didn't have to wait long for my order at all maybe 5 minutes give or take, and the sandwich was quite delicious. The trip was definitely worth it and I have every intention of returning to this location since I was given such excellent service. This is a fantastic alternative to Pappa Geno's, plus I swear the sandwiches are bigger so yea, really awesome first impression. I look forward to going back and maybe even trying out some of their other subs.
