Silver Star Smokehouse Express

This was the first time my wife and I came here. It was busy but we didn't have to wait long. We both ordered the smoked brisket with sides and I have to say everything was delicious! I like there BBQ sauce and the extra tang they put in there ranch sauce. All of the staffing were professional, considerate and hard working. We were very full after eating and definitely will be coming back! Thank you guys for good food and service! Management you should be very proud of your girls!!!!

Food is great but I ordered ahead and upon arrival food was not ready and the staff is very unorganized! Glad I checked my bag because half of my order was not in bag. I sat at the drive thru window 20 minutes after driving 30 minutes for takeout. Staff shouldn't be on their cell phones while at work!!

So very good. We were passing thru and stopped for take out lunch. Chels or chelsey? ( didn’t get her name) helped us and she was fantastic. She made sure we had everything we need to eat comfortably in the car (which is kinda hard sometimes). Extra high quality napkins, cutlery, nice to go cups, and our brisket and pulled pork sandwich was packed perfectly. Great attention to detail. And the food…simply delicious. I wished I lived around this place so I could come here more often. And it was lunchtime and the place was full. That’s always a sign of good food!

We went for a birthday dinner andthere was anout 15 of us total. The waitress im guessing was new and had several issues with keeping up amd her attitude towards us. The waitress was not getting any help from other staffnor even the manager when she couldnt keep up. The kitchen ran out of ribs for people who ordered rib plates but had enough to cover the 2 meat plate orders. The waitress said we can change the order from large rib to a two meat platter so we did. The meat was anout the same amount you would get for the two meat but the ticket charge was for a large platter. There is a $7 difference in price between the 2. When asking the waitress all she couldnsay was I didnt charge you for gratuity and she got her manager. The manager walks out and said we weigh the meat and you got the right amount of meat for a large rib plate. The manager did not have any people skills and was rolling her eyes. The ribs were not bad for the ones we got. The turkey was dry and the green beans were not the normal green beans they usually have. We have not been in a while due to having issues in the past at this location but decided to gove another try and we should habe just stayed home and cooked or went somewhere else. Not sure how this one does it with the staff and manager on duty tonight and besides our party there was only 3 other tables occupied while we were there so its not like theycwere packed tonight. Wont be back nothing has changed about the Silver Star express
