Firehouse Subs

My first time here, I wanted to try their submarines out. The turkey sub that I received was great, the smokehouse brisket was even better. The bun was extraordinary. This ranks up high with some of the best sandwiches that I have had. The chocolate chip cookies were also one of the very best that I have tasted. I would have liked to have seen a sub with a pasta sauce. As far as the interior of the diner, it was clean and looked great with some tasteful firehouse memorabilia.

Great food when they get your order right....Ordered Italian sub with extras on in and with wheat bread got white bread with 2 extra toppings....the other was NY steamer on white got wheat bread and everything else on this one....wasn't happy but ate them anyways just won't order from there again.......

I was looking forward to trying this place. Highly disappointing. Apparently this small sad dab of lettuce is what they consider normal. I asked for oil and vinegar, did not get oil and vinegar. Asked for salt, pepper and and oregano, and did not get those either. Mustard was also omitted, which I ordered. I asked for onion. Sadly, the only onion on this sandwich is what is in the photo. The "lettuce", what meager amount there is, is not fresh. I will not be returning. Maybe it was just an off day, but this was abismal. Not worth 5 bucks.
