Ihop

Great service. The pancakes are always good. I love the breakfast sampler or the amazing omelettes. Lots of gluten free options(including pancakes and waffles). My sons love the bacon burger and the French dip. My daughter enjoyed the French toast. Very friendly and helpful employees. We really enjoyed our meal. Awesome job!

Recently I visited friends in Portland Oregon, where they invited me to a mom and pop breakfast amongst other events. Needless to say the breakfast spot did not disappoint. Today I woke up with the urge to have a similar experience, so I went to IHOP in Silverdale WA area. It’s been 3 years since I have been to an IHOP, but today did not meet my nostalgic experience from before. They gave me a paper menu, which the copy they gave was fading out. The server told me I can use the QR code if I wanted but in reality I just wanted the old big menu with pictures in my hand. I ordered French Toast with coffee. I sat for maybe 7 minutes, and the server came back with the French Toasts. The taste felt as if they were microwaved. Did not have the home cook taste. I decide to stay there for a few minutes, enjoying my coffee(since I paid for it) and I realize that IHOP no longer has the home cook style anymore but a streamlined tasted. I felt as if I was just another number, like when you order a drink at Starbucks and they Baristas say “next customer.” For those interested in breakfast/brunch spot or what you are in the mood for, IHOP does not have the same taste.

In the land of hungry children, there once was a kingdom of Brinner. Mountains of mashed potatoes with streams of maple syrup and melted butter open into fields of flapjacks filled with chicken tender logs. This. This is where parents go to find temporary sanity. The absolute most amazing part of this, is kids eat free 🥺

My kiddo and I used to like this place a lot more. Recent visits have been less than enjoyable. Most recent visit wait staff was awesome and place was clean. The problem being our food was cold and was delivered after another table who came in just behind us, but ordered at the same time. We got our food long enough after they did, that they were finishing up and leaving. On top of everything my meal was to come with 2 pancakes. Sampler plate. Everything was delivered to our table by the manager and he told me he would be right back with the pancakes. They never came. Flagging someone down was difficult because of how busy they were. When I managed to get the managers attention, we were finished eating and I asked for the check. I asked that the check be adjusted due to the fact I only received 2/3 of my meal (no pancakes). He said no problem, then returned and said he took off 2 dollars. TWO DOLLARS! Are you kidding me? Why not take off the amount you charge for 2 pancakes? We were irritated and just left after telling the waitress thank you (she was nice). We will be finding somewhere else to eat if that's how management chooses to run this place. He never apologized about situation either.

We came in on Sunday to have lunch for Mother’s Day. We didn’t have to wait. We were seated right away. Our Hostess made sure the table she picked for us was wiped down clean before she had us seated. Shortly after our nice waitress came and took our order for drinks. We were notified when one of the meal was going to take longer than five minutes and was offered an option. I also loved that she checked up on us while eating to see if we needed anything else and refilled our coffee! Over all a great dining experience. The food was perfect and so delicious! Will come back soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
