Momma Kong's

It’s sad that i found out Momma Kong’s too late. They are going to close end of Oct. I visited twice within a month after i found them. The crabs were huge, meaty and fresh!! And fixed price!! They have small menu (which i like, no dilemma in deciding which to take 😂) but all dishes that we ordered are sooo NICE! The fried man tau is a must to go with their chilis crab! Staff are attentive, smiley, helpful and friendly! Atmosphere is good! Top Notch! I hope they will reopen somewhere else!!

Excellent food and services during our visit. Food (taste): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Services: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Despite the the outlook of the bowl of crab noodles, the bowl of crab noodle is beyond delicious. Both the crab and noodles are cooked to perfection. Especially the crab meat. We ordered the plate of grilled squid as well, delicious and cooked to perfection as well. Loved the provided chili, as it goes well with the squid. Service was beyond excellent. All I can say is that, they did customer service well. It felt as though we were dining in other country where customer service is at its finest.

Had my birthday dinner there on a Fri night. Enjoyed the food so much! The crabs are fresh and so nice. Worth the price especially with 20% early bird discount for dining before 5:30pm on weekdays, one 1-for-1 promo for Singapore Sling cocktail. Service was excellent too!!! Definitely will go back again :)

As per other reviews here, the chilli crab is the holy grail. Ate the 4 person set (240sgd without ++) Decently worth it. Chose the chilli and black pepper crab. Crabs are fresh, portions are good for sharing. Other dishes were pretty good, such as the xo fried rice. Fried chicken skin was very addictive too. Would recommend crab lovers to come. Service.. was top notch - attentive staff. Only small grouse was that the drinks were a little more.. unusual and taste may not be fkr everyone.

One of the most impressionable butter cream crab I have tasted. The refined butter cream sets it aside from the usual making it stands out. There is a small selection of popular zhi char items like fried rice and greens which were pretty well done. The crunchy cucumber appetiser was a nice touch that had soaked in notes of lemon grass that finished refreshingly on the palette. Completing the experiences is the very friendly, attentive and accommodating service that easily warrants a revisit to try the other menu items and even some off menus ones which the staffs had shared.

Food is really reasonably priced and portions are substantial. Drinks are one-for-one so totally good value! Really enjoyed the chili crab....crab meat was firm and juicy..mantou was soft and soaked up every bit of that chilli crab sauce. The Hokkien mee was moist and so flavourful.. Tho I felt there was too much pork lard and that overwhelmed the crab broth flavours in the dish. Har cheong kai was crispy on the outside and juicy, tender on the inside..dipped with that sambal and it was perfect. Qing long veg was fresh and crunchy without being too oily..stir fried w ginger and that gave a refreshing fragrance to this simple dish!
