Min Jiang Goodwood Park Hotel

Execution of the dishes was clean and tasty, but one would expect nothing less for this price. Pacing of the dishes was very slow and staggard – all the dishes were brought out one at a time, with about 5-10 min wait between each dish... Very annoying. Although it's common to have dim sum dishes come out at different times, the gap between dishes here was just too long. "Poolside" seating wasn't that great as the courtyard is plain and boring and the view looks out onto drab hotel rooms. Service lady was the saving grace of the meal as she was very kind and attentive, despite seemingly being the only staff member handling the outdoor tables.

Visited Min Jiang for Christmas lunch wanted to have dim sum for lunch. Was pretty packed but the staff were quite efficient and got us to our table within minutes. Throughout the deciding and ordering, there was this female waitress who was helpful in also providing recommendations on which dishes to order. Also have to say throughout the meal they were so attentive despite being so crowded. They kept filling the cups with tea, though even once I finished mine and I wanted to refill myself one of the staff apologised and did the refill for me. In terms of the food, have to say the variety of dim sum is okay but not as wide as I would have expected. Food was pretty good but there were some hiccups during the serving of the food, was pretty slow but could understand the restaurant was really packed I assume the kitchen must be working very hard. Good and enjoyable food, prices can be considered reasonable in such a high end restaurant. The highlight for me was really the dessert we ordered instead of the dim sum. The deep fried sweet potato crispy milk was really very tasty I seriously could eat more. Overall an enjoyable meal and really impecable service from the staff.

We went for the set menu for dinner. First few dishes came very fast and after that there was quite a big time gap between the 4th to 6th dishes. Saw them put the food in dish warmer so not too sure if they actually prepare all the dishes way beforehand. Restaurant was packed on a Friday evening so staff was quite busy too. The taste was good but could have been served piping hot, in our opinion. Set menu ranging from $68-128 per pax depending on the items.

Still my favourite place ... for our yearly Lunar New Year lunch ... every dish is nice ... this year they are not serving Peking Duck ... but our first try of the Camphor Tea Duck is also surprisingly delicious ... the most important of all ... to be able to enjoy with the family ... simple lunch 😊 新年健康快乐

Setting was beautiful and tasteful with modern interiors. Retains the feel of a well-established Chinese restaurant with polite and efficient service. Double-boiled soup was very hearty and nourishing. 4 stars as would not be my first choice for dim sum lunch - felt the dim sum could have been better.
