I have read about the restaurant somewhere and it has been on my to go list for a very long time. I went there for pizza and pasta (as it was only 2 of us so we couldn’t ordered much). I really like the pasta here and if I have a chance to come back again, I’ll definitely try more pasta. However, the pizza was just ok for me. It was indeed an authentic thin crust pasta, but yet nothing is very special. Also read a review that Tiramisu was a must order menu so we went for it. I felt like they were too generous on the cream but not the biscuits 😂 … if you like thick creamy dessert, you might like it but probably not for me.

Here's what we tried! 🌟 𝗚𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗰𝗵𝗶 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮 ($𝟮𝟬) Topped with an indulgent layer of mozzarella cheese, this plate of chewy potato gnocchi is baked in light tomato sauce. Compared to the gnocchi variation that we usually get in Singapore, this is much cheesier! 👍 🌟 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗮 ($𝟯𝟮) Torched straight in front of us, this lava cheesy pizza is something out of the ordinary. Despite a long list of tomato-based pizzas available, we chose this white-based rendition and didn't regret. It comes with bacon, mozzarella, parmesan cheese and eggs in truffle cream 🍕 🌟 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 ($𝟮𝟵) One of the chef recommendation, the pasta contains homemade sausage, mix mushrooms and truffle oil. 🌟 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗽 / 𝗡𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗗𝗶 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗰 ($𝟯𝟮) We also picked the grilled pork chop from the list of Tuscan style charcoal-grilled meats available. Good balance of fat and lean components 🐷 Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience at @alborgosg . The dishes didn't disappoint and there are a number of vegetarian options too. Pasta and pizza are common food which we can find almost anywhere in Singapore. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much. Thought it’s just another “Italian restaurant”. But Al Borgo made these common dishes uncommon! Especially this pasta which we ordered! Extremely well done! Don’t miss out their Tiramisu too. I finally found my favorite Tiramisu in Singapore again.

Came for a friend birthday lunch jus b4 restrictions kicked in again. Served nice and authentic Italian food. The portions are very generous. The service seems a bit cold at first but once you warm up with the staff, they are such lovely people. I saw them very patience with an elderly customer which some health conditions it seems.
