Had a wonderful catchup with friends during lunch time here. I could see much thoughts put into the menu design, table setting and choices of cutlery. Highly recommend the scallop, the strawberry/tomato salad and the beetroot dessert. Only the lobster dish was a miss to me. Will definitely return in the future.

Had dinner at Nouri. Food was great here! It was quite a culinary journey as the chef prepared and introduced to us food from all over the world. Not common expensive food, but from remote lesser know places of the world. The pigeon was definitely the star dish here. Service was wonderful as they tried to accommodate my wife’s food allergy at the last minute.

Had a lovely time at Nouri! Service was great, food was really exceptional! Most Omakase fusion dishes has its hits and (some) misses but I have to say that every dish at Nouri was really suited to my palate and every dish was a hit! Love the mix of spices and texture! Hope to be back soon and to experience new dishes. Will post the commonly posted photos here so as to not spoil any element of surprise.

I don’t know about the rave reviews about this place, I’ll be begging to differ. They call it crossroads cooking and qualified it further by saying it’s NOT fusion. So from the outset I’m already confused on what I’m going to get. Just the ones I liked first - the brazilian street food crispy treat with mole that tasted exactly like curry was mindblowingly complex in textures, and the taste was in your face strong. The lobster pilaf rice was beautifully executed, complexity in not just textures but also flavor. The caviar and tartare wrap in dip was probably the only other dish that was great. The rest was just confusing. There was no structure to the dishes, no main flavor with exciting complements, just different flavors fighting each other while you figure out what on earth is going on in this dish. The bad thing about fusion restaurants is that sometimes they go too experimental and the flavors just do not match. That’s what happened here. The pigeon in buah keluak mole was an interesting idea but the pigeon itself was underwhelming, I could barely taste the buah keluak either. The condiments on top of the pigeon was powerful enough to overwhelm everything. What a waste of a pigeon! I’m both confused and underwhelmed.

decent experience. however, not all dishes were perfect. seafood dishes were great, meat not so. service was great and staff friendly, rightly so for a michelin starred restaurant.

Delicious, eclectic and refined. More hits than misses. Portion sizes are very dainty, so if you are ravenous you should go for the seven course meal. Our favourite dishes were the scallops and stone bass; the desserts and non-alcoholic drink options were forgettable. What differentiates Nouri is its service, which was impeccable, friendly, conversational and thoughtful.

We had a very good dinner at nouri. We appreciated the innovative combination of tastes and spices. I am always a big fan if seafood is treated both with delicacy but also an effort is made to blur the line to traditional meat spice palates. The wine / beverage pairing was very successful and outstanding for several dishes. Clear highlights were the lobster and the grouper, very surprising in preparation, spice palate and outstanding pairing. Only let down was the strawberry/tomato salad. For one it is a bit of a cliché by now but more importantly we found it seasoned too little so overall it was a bit "meh". Would recommend unconditionally for a interesting and out of the box meal.
